Nangong Yu is an Ether Stunner who plays like a hybrid: top-tier Daze, a 25% squad DMG buff, bonus Anomaly Buildup against Stunned enemies, and Anomaly application on par with a real Anomaly Agent. She's the best Stunner for Anomaly teams. Her rerun banner "Axiom of Captivation" runs until September 30.

Recommended teams
Frost Anomaly: Miyabi & Yuzuha
The second most used team in the current Shiyu Defense. Use Nangong's EX Specials to supply the Ether Anomalies that set up Miyabi's Disorders and Shimotsuki.
Angels of Delusion: Aria & Sunna
The faction team: Aria's stomps trigger Dance Prowess automatically, and Sunna pushes the whole team into huge Stun bursts.
How to play
Out of Stun: build Daze and buffs
- Downbeats (max 100) build passively and faster whenever an Attribute Anomaly is triggered. Hold Basic for her 3-part charged Basic Attack: Adorable Explosive Impact: the 2nd and 3rd hits cost 50 Downbeats each. Releasing when her morning stars flash (Precise Charging) adds 20% Daze.
- Landing the charged Basic or her EX Special gives her +35% Anomaly Buildup and +20% Daze, and gives the whole squad +25% DMG for 30s.
- The 3rd charged hit or her Ultimate applies Misstep: +30% Stun DMG Multiplier and +3s Stun duration.
- Her Defensive Assist costs only 1 Assist Point whatever the attack, so parry on her freely.
During Stun
- When an enemy is Stunned she gains 2 Dance Prowess stacks. Swap to her and she rushes in with an instant charged Basic that triggers a Polarity Disorder (25% of the Disorder's DMG). Her EX Special and Quick Assist can also spend Dance Prowess. With Aria, her stomps trigger it automatically.
- She gets one free EX Special per Stun (within 15s).
- Each Abloom, Disorder or Attribute Anomaly on a Stunned enemy adds a Vibrato stack. At 4 stacks, or when the Stun ends, she triggers a big Abloom.
Tips
- Her gameplan: build to 100 Downbeats, apply Misstep and her buffs, then burst the Stun with Polarity Disorders and Vibrato.
- She applies a lot of Ether: in Miyabi teams, use her EX to set up the Disorders, but in Aria teams avoid diluting Corruption.
Strengths
- Does it all: very high Daze, big team buffs and sub-DPS level damage.
- Lots of useful extras: fast Heavy Attacks for Chain triggers, a free EX per Stun, 1-point Defensive Assists.
- Opens up new routes for Anomaly teams with faster Stuns, Anomaly Buildup buffs and longer Stuns.
- Fits almost every Anomaly Agent, and pairs well with Yuzuha, Sunna or Nicole.
Weaknesses
- As an Anomaly-focused Stunner, few Anomaly Agents have an Additional Ability that she activates.
- Heavily reliant on her signature W-Engine; no alternative comes close.
- Her high Anomaly Buildup can dilute a teammate's attribute or clash with Disorder timings.

Her charged Basic and EX Special reduce enemies' All-Attribute RES by 18% for 40s, and she enters battle with full Downbeats.
Stronger Vibrato Ablooms, +30% more Stun DMG Multiplier from Misstep, and Chain Attack heavy hits can trigger a Polarity Disorder.
+50% Daze, and a modified Vibrato that also builds outside of Stun.
