Zenless Zone Zero 3.2 "Their Secret Histories": Claret, the Armorer specialty and everything new

Version 3.2, "Their Secret Histories", went live on September 9, 2026 after a maintenance that started at 06:00 (UTC+8). It is a 42-day patch that ends on October 21, 2026 at 06:00 (UTC+8). Proxies at Inter-Knot Lv. 4 or higher receive 300 Polychrome for the maintenance and another 300 for bug fixes.

Claret and the new Armorer specialty

The headline is Claret (S-Rank, Electric), head of the Flint Workshop in Roscaelifer. She's the first Agent of Armorer, the second specialty added since launch after Rupture (Version 2.0). In-game, Armorers are described as Agents who "excel at dealing massive DMG through Maim and Laceration". Here's what makes them different:

their damage scales with DEF, not ATK;
their EX Special Attacks run on Sharpness instead of Energy;
critical hits trigger a Laceration DMG bonus instead of regular CRIT DMG.

Claret's signature S-Rank W-Engine is Crimson Thirst. The patch also adds three more Armorer W-Engines: Bloodmarrow Coffer (A-Rank, a selectable New Eridu City Fund reward at Lv. 30), Catty Luck (A-Rank) and [Lunar] Semiluna (B-Rank). New farming stages are also available: "Armorer Drill" (promotion), "Armorer Synergy Test" (W-Engine materials), the Conqueror Expert Challenge and the Kusarikku Notorious Hunt.

Phase I channels (until September 30, 11:59 server time)

"Bloodmoon Rising": Claret, with Anton and Nicole as the default A-Rank rate-ups.
"Axiom of Captivation": rerun of Nangong Yu (Ether, Stun).
W-Engine channels: Crimson Thirst and Neon Fantasies.

Phase II starts on September 30 with Roxy (S-Rank, Wind, Stun), her W-Engine Crimson Moon Casket and a Promeia rerun.

Story and new areas

Main Story Season 3 Chapter 3, "Their Secret Histories", unlocks after Chapter 2, "The Long Goodbye". Roscaelifer gets three new areas: the Vyrium District (unlocked during Season 3 Chapter 1), plus two Restricted Areas that open in Chapter 3, the Porcelloy Research Institute and the Shrouded Reef Transfer Station. Claret and Roxy also get Agent Trust and Quality Time events.

Events

All-New Program: log in for 7 days to get 10 Encrypted Master Tapes (until October 20).
Angels Support Operation: free outfits for Nangong Yu, Aria and Sunna (until November 30).
Surprise Screening Plan (September 23 – October 20): a check-in event where you pick one Angels of Delusion outfit.
Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight!, Shadow Chase Showdown and Potential Hypothesis: Reforged in Fire, followed by Diary of an Orbie Parent (September 30) and Chronicles of the Hobbling Crow (October 3).

Worth knowing

If you missed the Marcel Anniversary Gifts in 3.1, the Beginner Guide now lets you pick a limited S-Rank Agent (Jane, Hugo or Soldier 0 - Anby). Later in the guide you can also pick an S-Rank W-Engine (Sharpened Stinger, Myriad Eclipse or Severed Innocence).
Enemy flashes are clearer now: gold means the attack can be countered with a Defensive Assist, red means it can't. The first hit of some Control Skills can now be countered.
A new season of Enigma of the Labyrinth (Operation Bagel II) is live, and Potential Silhouette: Koleda has been added to the Potential Archive.
