Hoshimi Miyabi is an Ice Anomaly Agent whose Frost attribute has its own Anomaly gauge, so she can trigger Disorders even with other Ice Agents. Unusually for an Anomaly Agent, she builds CRIT, and a fully charged Shimotsuki hits as hard as most Ultimates. Almost two years after release, she's still one of the most used damage dealers in Shiyu Defense, now usually paired with Nangong Yu and Yuzuha.

Talent priority
CRIT Rate matters more than usual: every point up to 80% also speeds up her Frost Anomaly, which is her main source of Fallen Frost.
Recommended teams
Meta: Nangong Yu & Yuzuha
The second most used team in the current Shiyu Defense. Nangong provides Daze, Polarity Disorders and big buffs, and Yuzuha is the go-to Anomaly Support. Nangong's rerun ends September 30.
Lumiflux: Remielle & Velina
Miyabi's strong Frost Anomalies make great Voidflares for Remielle, and Velina keeps the Disorders flowing.
How to play
Fallen Frost
Her charged Basic Attack: Shimotsuki needs 2/4/6 Fallen Frost for charge levels 1/2/3. The goal is always a fully charged Shimotsuki. Sources:
- 3 on first entering battle, 3 from her Ultimate;
- 2 per EX Special Attack (4 if you chain both parts of Hisetsu);
- 2 whenever any squad member triggers a Disorder (Additional Ability);
- 1 on Frostburn - Break (10s cooldown).
Frost Anomaly
- Frost DMG applies Icefire, which raises her Frost Anomaly Buildup Rate by her CRIT Rate (up to 80%). Hence the 80% CRIT Rate target.
- When she applies Frostbite to an Icefire target, she triggers Frostburn - Break (big Frost hit) and the target enters Frostburn (+20% Anomaly Buildup taken from everyone).
- Trigger a Disorder with a teammate to clear Frostburn and get 2 more Fallen Frost.
Combos
- Opener: EX Special (Hisetsu) → Kazahana hits 3-4-5 (the EX skips the two Physical hits) → Frost Anomaly → fully charged Shimotsuki.
- In Stun: Chain Attack → Ultimate (+3 Fallen Frost, Ice DMG +30%) → fully charged Shimotsuki.
- Quick swap: once Shimotsuki is fully charged, swap out: she finishes the slash on her own, and you save a lot of time.
Strengths
- Huge damage multipliers and wide AoE on many attacks.
- Frost has its own gauge, so she can pair with other Ice Agents for Disorders.
- Lots of team options, for spenders and F2P players alike.
- Still one of the most used DPS in current Shiyu Defense.
Weaknesses
- Stat-hungry: she really wants 80% CRIT Rate on top of ATK and CRIT DMG.
- Few good W-Engines besides her signature, since most Anomaly W-Engines offer no CRIT.
- Several long animations; you'll want quick swaps to get the most out of her.

Shimotsuki ignores up to 36% DEF, and her level-3 slash on a Frostburn target gives the squad +20% Anomaly Buildup Rate.
Kazahana's 5th hit generates Fallen Frost, she starts battle with 6 Fallen Frost and gains +15% CRIT Rate. Game8's top Mindscape for her.
Polar: Shimotsuki DMG +30% and automatic extra slashes while charging. A huge jump in damage.
