Release1.0

Tingyun is a Lightning Harmony support who powers up a single damage dealer. Her Skill grants Benediction (more ATK and extra Lightning DMG on every attack), and her Ultimate gives one ally 50 Energy and a 50% DMG boost. She is fully Skill Point-positive and one of the best Energy batteries in the game for carries with expensive Ultimates.

Teams

Recommended teams

Himeko • Nova

Tingyun's most used team in Memory of Chaos on Prydwen: her 50 Energy speeds up Himeko's 150-Energy Ultimate, and Benediction boosts her damage.

Archer

Her Energy refund gets Archer to his Ultimate faster, and her Basic ATKs generate Skill Points for his Skill chains.

Starter team

Game8's free-to-play team: Tingyun and Yukong both buff Dan Heng, and Natasha keeps everyone alive.

Guide

How to play

How she works

  • Soothing Melody (Skill). Grants one ally Benediction for 3 turns: +50% ATK (capped at 25% of Tingyun's own ATK), and that ally deals Lightning Additional DMG equal to 40% of their ATK when they attack. Only the most recent target keeps it.
  • Violet Sparknado (Talent). Whenever Tingyun attacks, the ally with Benediction also deals Lightning Additional DMG equal to 60% of their ATK to the same enemy.
  • Amidst the Rejoicing Clouds (Ultimate, 130 Energy). Restores 50 Energy to one ally and increases their DMG by 50% for 2 turns.
  • Energy. Her Technique gives her 50 Energy, Jubilant Passage (A6) adds 5 Energy at the start of each of her turns, and Nourished Joviality (A2) grants her +20% SPD for 1 turn after using her Skill.

Rotation

  1. Use her Technique before combat for a much faster first Ultimate.
  2. Put Benediction on your damage dealer, then use Basic ATKs: they generate Skill Points and trigger her Talent.
  3. Refresh Benediction before it expires (it lasts 3 turns, counted on the buffed ally's turns).
  4. Use her Ultimate on the damage dealer right before their turn, ideally when those 50 Energy fill their Ultimate.

Tips

  • SPD is her most important stat: her base SPD (112) is already high, and every extra turn means more Energy for your carry.
  • Her ATK matters too, because Benediction's ATK bonus is capped by her own ATK.
  • All her buffs are single-target: she shines in hypercarry teams built around an Energy-hungry damage dealer (Himeko • Nova, Archer, Argenti, Yunli, Clara).
  • Her HP is low: favour defensive substats if she keeps getting knocked out.

Strengths

  • Strong single-target ATK, DMG and Additional DMG buffs
  • 50 Energy refund for damage dealers with expensive Ultimates
  • Can be played fully Skill Point-positive
  • Very high base SPD
  • Scales well with Eidolons

Weaknesses

  • All her buffs are single-target
  • Fragile, with very low base HP
  • Needs an Energy-hungry carry to show her full value

Notable dupes · Eidolon

E1
Solid upgrade

The ally with Benediction gains +20% SPD for 1 turn after using their Ultimate.

E4
Solid upgrade

Benediction's Additional DMG multiplier increases by 20%.

E6
Big upgrade

Her Ultimate restores 60 Energy instead of 50 — a much bigger difference than it looks. Prydwen rates her one tier higher at E6 (T3 instead of T4 in Memory of Chaos and Pure Fiction).
