Wind
The Hunt
Dan Heng
Cold and Reserved Young Man
Dan Heng is a 4★ Wind Hunt damage dealer focused on single targets. His Skill can Slow enemies on a CRIT hit, his Ultimate and A6 hit Slowed enemies much harder, and his Talent grants 36% Wind RES PEN whenever an ally uses an ability on him. He's naturally fast, but his damage depends on his teammates, so today he's mostly an early-game or budget pick.

Substat priority
Stat targets
- SPD: 134 (recommended), 143 or 160 — SPD boots alone give 135
- CRIT Rate: 65–75%+
- CRIT DMG: 130–150%+
- ATK: 2,100–2,500+
- HP: 2,800–3,000+ · DEF: 800–900+
Talent priority
Skill and Ultimate are equal priority. Major Trace priority: Faster Than Light (A4) > Hidden Dragon (A2) > High Gale (A6).
Recommended teams
Slow hypercarry
Welt's Slows make his Ultimate bonus more reliable, while Sunday's Skill and Huohuo's heals target him and trigger his Talent.
Wind & Quantum
Bronya's Skill both triggers his Talent and advances his action, and Silver Wolf can implant a Wind Weakness while lowering enemy RES and DEF.
Free team
Game8's budget pick: Yukong boosts his damage, the Trailblazer (Preservation) shields the team and Natasha heals.
How to play
How he works
- Cloudlancer Art: Torrent (Skill). 260% ATK on one enemy. If it lands a CRIT hit, it has a 100% base chance to Slow the target by 12% for 2 turns (20% at E6).
- Ethereal Dream (Ultimate, 100 Energy). 400% ATK on one enemy, with a +120% multiplier if the target is Slowed.
- Superiority of Reach (Talent). When an ally uses an ability on him (buff, heal, shield…), his next attack gains 36% Wind RES PEN. It can trigger again after 2 turns (1 turn at E2).
- Traces. Faster Than Light (A4): 50% fixed chance to gain +20% SPD for 2 turns after attacking. High Gale (A6): his Basic ATK deals 40% more DMG to Slowed enemies. Hidden Dragon (A2): he's less likely to be targeted at 50% HP or lower.
Rotation
- Use his Technique: +40% ATK for 3 turns at the start of battle.
- Have a support use a single-target ability on him (Tingyun, Bronya, Sunday…) right before his big attacks to trigger his Talent.
- Use his Skill to apply Slow, then fire his Ultimate on the Slowed target.
Tips
- Welt's Skill can also Slow enemies, which makes the Ultimate's +120% multiplier much more reliable.
- His Slow is a debuff, so it counts toward Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters.
- With a base SPD of 110, SPD boots alone put him at 135 SPD: the Glamoth threshold, and above the 134 breakpoint.
- Prydwen calls him demanding: timing his Talent and his Slow matters more than for most damage dealers.
Strengths
- Naturally very fast (base SPD 110)
- Rare RES PEN built into his kit
- His Slow is a useful debuff and powers his Ultimate
- Free 4★ who joins the team early in the story
Weaknesses
- Steep learning curve
- Can't trigger his own Talent without allies
- No AoE, so he struggles against groups
- Rated in Prydwen's lowest tier (T5) in every endgame mode
Notable dupes · Eidolon
+12% CRIT Rate against enemies at 50% HP or more.
His Talent's cooldown drops by 1 turn, so its 36% Wind RES PEN is available far more often.
Defeating an enemy with his Ultimate lets him act again immediately. Game8's highest-rated Eidolon for him: it chains turns against waves of weaker enemies.
His Skill's Slow lowers enemy SPD by an extra 8% (20% in total).
