The Traveler Whose Wings Were Clipped
Sunday is an Imaginary Harmony amplifier who makes one ally act again immediately with his Skill while boosting their DMG and CRIT Rate. His Ultimate refunds Energy and turns the target into "The Beatified", sharing part of his own CRIT DMG. His buffs are even stronger on allies with a summon, and he's currently a staple for Himeko • Nova and Phainon.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- SPD: exactly 1 below your carry (e.g. 134 for 135), or 160+ in hyperspeed
- CRIT DMG: 180–220%+
- Energy Regeneration Rate: 119.4–124.4%
- Effect RES: 30%+ with Broken Keel
- HP: 4,000–4,500+, DEF: 1,000–1,200+
Talent priority
Major Trace priority: Rest Day's Longing (A2) > Exalted Sweep (A4) > Haven in Palm (A6). All three are cheap and useful: unlock them early.
Recommended teams
Himeko • Nova
His most used team: his action advances and Energy refund give Himeko • Nova more turns and more Ultimates, while Permansor Terrae's Souldragon lets her receive the full summon bonus.
Phainon
Sunday gives Phainon the most Coreflame through his Skill, Ultimate and action advances, plus the CRIT Rate his build lacks.
How to play
How he works
- Skill. The target ally (and their summon) takes action immediately and deals 30% more DMG for 2 turns — 80% if the target has a summon. His Talent adds +20% CRIT Rate for 3 turns, and his A6 cleanses 1 debuff. Using it on The Beatified refunds 1 Skill Point. It can't grant an immediate action to Harmony characters.
- Ultimate (130 Energy). Restores 20% of the target's Max Energy (at least 40 thanks to his A2) and makes them The Beatified for 3 of Sunday's turns: their CRIT DMG rises by 30% of Sunday's CRIT DMG + 12%.
- Summons. Summons are advanced along with their owner. Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae attaches his Souldragon to his Bondmate, so that ally receives the full 80% DMG bonus even without a summon of their own.
Speed setups
- -1 SPD (most common). Sunday is exactly 1 SPD slower than the damage dealer (e.g. 134 for a 135 carry). He always acts right after them, and his Skill gives them another turn straight away: two carry turns for every one of Sunday's.
- Hyperspeed. 160+ SPD (Eagle of Twilight Line, Dance! Dance! Dance!) to act as often as possible, for carries that stay at base SPD, such as Himeko • Nova with ATK% boots.
Tips
- Stack CRIT DMG on him: The Beatified converts it into a buff for the carry.
- Without his signature, aim for a 3-action Ultimate with an Energy Regeneration Rate rope; his Ultimate's Energy is wasted on characters without Energy (Feixiao, Acheron…).
- His Technique gives the first ally he buffs +50% DMG for 2 turns.
Strengths
- 100% action advance on a single ally with his Skill
- Long-lasting CRIT and DMG buffs that are easy to keep up
- Flexible SPD tuning (-1 SPD or hyperspeed)
- At least 40 Energy for an ally with each Ultimate
- Unique buffs for summons, and a debuff cleanse on his Skill
Weaknesses
- Can run into Energy issues without an Energy-focused Light Cone
- His Ultimate's Energy is wasted on characters without Energy
- Still few summon characters to take full advantage of his kit
Notable dupes · Eidolon
After his Skill, the target ignores 16% of enemy DEF and their summon 40%, for 2 turns.
2 Skill Points after his first Ultimate and +30% DMG for The Beatified. Game8's recommended stopping point.
His Talent's CRIT Rate stacks up to 3 times, is also applied by his Ultimate, and CRIT Rate above 100% becomes CRIT DMG (1% → 2%).
