Acheron is a Lightning Nihility damage dealer who doesn't use Energy: her Ultimate charges with Slashed Dream, which she gains every time any ally inflicts a debuff. Her Ultimate ignores Weakness types and lowers all enemies' All-Type RES by 20%, and with two other Nihility characters in the team she deals 1.6× damage. Paired with Mortenax Blade, she remains a top AoE carry in all three endgame modes.

Mortenax Blade Nihility
Her most used team. Mortenax Blade is her best Nihility partner by far: his Zone lets every ally attack apply debuffs, he debuffs during enemy turns, lowers DEF and boosts Ultimate DMG. Tribbie adds damage and Hyacine keeps everyone alive.
Triple Nihility
Two Nihility teammates for the full 1.6× A4 bonus: Cipher makes all enemies take 40% more DMG and stores part of the damage to release as True DMG.

How to play
How she works
- Slashed Dream. Her Ultimate needs 9 points of Slashed Dream instead of Energy. She gains 1 point whenever any unit inflicts a debuff on an enemy with an ability (once per ability use), and her Skill, Octobolt Flash, gives her 1 point on its own. Each point also puts a stack of Crimson Knot on an enemy.
- Red Oni (A2). She starts every battle with 5 Slashed Dream. Points beyond the cap become Quadrivalent Ascendance stacks (up to 3), each of which gives her 1 Slashed Dream after her next Ultimate.
- Slashed Dream Cries in Red (Ultimate). Three Rainblades strike one target, each removing up to 3 Crimson Knots and dealing AoE damage for every stack removed, then Stygian Resurge hits all enemies, followed by 6 extra bounces from her A6. During the Ultimate she reduces Toughness regardless of Weakness type and lowers all enemies' All-Type RES by 20%.
- The Abyss (A4). With 1 or 2 other Nihility characters in the team, her Basic ATK, Skill and Ultimate deal 115% or 160% of their original damage: always bring two.
- Thunder Core (A6). Each Rainblade that hits a target with Crimson Knot grants +30% DMG (up to 3 stacks, 3 turns).
Rotation
- Open with her Technique: it instantly defeats normal enemies and, in battle, deals AoE damage at the start of each wave while granting a Quadrivalent Ascendance stack.
- Use her Skill every turn; your teammates' debuffs fill the rest of the gauge.
- Cast her Ultimate as soon as she has 9 points. Rainblades hit the target you select, so aim them at the enemy with the most Crimson Knots (usually the boss).
Tips
- What counts is how often debuffs are applied, not how many are active: teammates who debuff on every action or even during enemy turns (Mortenax Blade, Jiaoqiu, Cipher) charge her fastest.
- She has no Energy, so Energy Regeneration Rate is useless: use an ATK% rope.
- Her Skill spends Skill Points every turn, so she appreciates SP-friendly teammates.
- A shielder with Trend of the Universal Market (Aventurine, Fu Xuan) Burns every attacker, which also generates Slashed Dream.
Strengths
- AoE and bounce damage on her Ultimate that suits most encounters
- Huge self-multipliers: 1.6× damage with two Nihility teammates and up to +90% DMG after her Ultimate
- Ignores Weakness types and 20% RES during her Ultimate, so she fits any fight
- Doesn't need the most sought-after Harmony supports, freeing them for your other team
- Instant-kill Technique that also speeds up fights that don't end immediately
Weaknesses
- Needs two other Nihility characters for full damage, ideally limited ones
- Her multipliers have aged compared with recent carries
- Few free Light Cones, and her signature is a big consistency boost
- Prefers debuff-applying teammates, which narrows her sustain options
