The zombie apprentice of Bubu Pharmacy made a real comeback with her Witch's Revelation. Her Herald of Frost now lasts as long as its cooldown, follows your active character, heals, applies Cryo and fires coordinated attacks, and in Stellar Glimmer teams it adds 50% DMG to Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl reactions. She is now a strong sustain for Sandrone, Cyno, the Cryo Traveler or Vesna.

How to play

How she works

  • Adeptus Art: Herald of Frost (Skill) summons the Herald for 15s. It follows the active character, heals them periodically and deals Cryo DMG; after her Witch's Revelation it also performs a coordinated Cryo attack when your active character hits an enemy.
  • Seven Sacred Treasures (Witch's Revelation passive, unlocked by the quest Witch's Revelation: Instruction of Curious Form, Lv. 70+): her Skill cooldown drops to 15s, so the Herald has full uptime. While the Herald is out and Qiqi is in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct (inside a Polestar Field) or Radiance: Stellar Swirl (for 8s after a party member triggers Stellar Swirl), the party's Superconduct/Stellar-Conduct or Cryo Swirl/Stellar Swirl DMG is increased by 50%.
  • Adeptus Art: Preserver of Fortune (Burst) marks enemies with Fortune-Preserving Talismans that heal whoever hits them; in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct it deals an extra hit counted as Stellar-Conduct DMG.
  • Life-Prolonging Methods: reactions triggered under the Herald raise Incoming Healing by 20%.

Rotation

  1. Place her near the end of the rotation, right before your main DPS: her Herald usually has the shortest buff window of the team.
  2. E, dash-cancel, swap to your carry.
  3. Keep her Burst as an emergency button: a Normal Attack with the Herald out already heals the whole party. From C6, a well-built Qiqi can Burst for extra Stellar damage.

Her buffs need a teammate who turns Superconduct or Cryo Swirl into Stellar Glimmer reactions (Odette, Sandrone or the Cryo Traveler; Vesna for Stellar Swirl only). Outside those teams she is a comfortable Cryo healer, nothing more.

Strengths

  • Strong, effortless healing with permanent Herald uptime
  • +50% Stellar-Conduct or Stellar Swirl DMG for the whole party
  • Good off-field Cryo application and particles
  • Almost no Burst reliance and very short field time

Weaknesses

  • Her buffs only matter in Stellar Glimmer teams
  • The Herald works best when your active character fights up close
  • Mediocre constellations for a 5-star
  • Needs her Witch's Revelation quest to reach this level
