Release2.5

The Guuji of the Grand Narukami Shrine is back at the top of the meta. Since her 6.7 buffs, her Sesshou Sakura last 24 seconds and, inside a Polestar Field, fire enhanced lightning that deals direct Stellar-Conduct DMG. She is the best Electro sub-DPS for Sandrone and Wriothesley Stellar-Conduct teams, and her C1 buffs the whole party.

Echoes of the Heart

The Widsith

Stat targets

  • CRIT Rate 55–65% on the stat screen (Disenchantment adds 16% in combat)
  • CRIT DMG 150%+
  • ATK 2,000+
  • Elemental Mastery 100–300 is a good bonus
  • Energy Recharge: none needed in Stellar-Conduct teams

Talent priority

Elemental Skill
Elemental Burst
Normal Attack

Use an ATK% goblet, not Electro DMG: about three quarters of her damage is direct Stellar-Conduct DMG, which ignores DMG Bonus. The Stellar-Conduct part of her Skill does not scale with talent level, but the Sakura's own Electro hits do. In older Aggravate teams (Nahida, Fischl), switch back to EM/Electro DMG/CRIT, Golden Troupe and her Burst.

Teams

Recommended teams

Sandrone Stellar-Conduct

Prydwen's premium team: Sandrone and Odette enable Stellar-Conduct, Alyosha adds Electro and healing, and Yae's C1 alone is worth about 15% team damage.

Wriothesley Stellar-Conduct

Wriothesley's best team: Odette enables the reaction, Nicole buffs, and Yae is his best Electro partner by a wide margin.

Budget Stellar-Conduct

The free Cryo Traveler enables Stellar-Conduct as main DPS, Alyosha heals and Diona shields while adding Cryo.

Guide

How to play

How she works

  • Stellar-Conduct: when the team has a Stellar-Conduct enabler (Sandrone, Odette or the Cryo Traveler), Superconduct becomes Stellar-Conduct. The reaction itself deals no damage but still shreds Physical RES and creates a Polestar Field, inside which Yae enters Radiance: Stellar-Conduct.
  • Yakan Evocation: Sesshou Sakura (Skill, 3 charges) plants a Sesshou Sakura that strikes a nearby opponent every few seconds. Up to three can exist and they level each other up. Edict of Cleansing extends their duration by 10s (24s in total).
  • Edict of Cleansing: when a party member triggers Superconduct or Stellar-Conduct, the next Sakura strike is enhanced (+80% of her ATK, once every 2.5s). Under Radiance, that strike also deals an extra 200% ATK of Stellar-Conduct DMG: this is where most of her damage comes from.
  • Direct Stellar-Conduct DMG scales with ATK, Elemental Mastery and reaction bonuses, ignores DEF, can CRIT, and does not benefit from Electro DMG Bonus.
  • Great Secret Art: Tenko Kenshin (Burst) turns the Sakura into Tenko Thunderbolts, and The Shrine's Sacred Shade resets one Skill charge per Sakura. Recasting the Skill with 3 Sakura out also fires a small extra strike (50% ATK as Stellar-Conduct DMG under Radiance). The Burst itself deals no Stellar-Conduct DMG, so it is rarely worth casting.

Rotation

  1. E E E near the enemies (add one Normal Attack if you need more Electro).
  2. Set up your Cryo supports (e.g. Odette E E, Alyosha E Q).
  3. Swap to your main DPS (Sandrone, Wriothesley, the Cryo Traveler…) and let the Sakura work off-field.

The Sakura last a whole rotation: plant them once, at or near the start, and do not waste field time recasting them.

Strengths

  • One of the strongest sub-DPS of version 7.1 in Stellar-Conduct teams
  • Long-lasting turrets: about 3 seconds of field time per rotation
  • Her C1, often available for free from the recurring constellation event, gives the party +50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG
  • No Energy Recharge requirement, since her Burst is rarely used

Weaknesses

  • Needs both a Stellar-Conduct enabler and steady Cryo application
  • Much less meta outside Stellar-Conduct (Aggravate, Overloaded)
  • Her Burst and Normal Attacks go mostly unused
  • Sakura can be placed badly on spread-out waves

Notable dupes · Constellation

C1
Big upgrade

After Yae triggers Superconduct/Stellar-Conduct or deals Stellar-Conduct DMG, the party gains +50% Electro and Stellar-Conduct DMG for 10s. Often free from the recurring constellation event: grab it.

C2
Big upgrade

Sakura start at level 2 (max 4) with 60% more range, and she and the active character gain up to 200 Elemental Mastery.

C6
Big upgrade

Sakura ignore 60% DEF and her Stellar-Conduct CRIT DMG rises by 200%: a huge personal damage spike.
