Imaginary
Destruction
Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae
Dan Heng's True Form
Dan Heng • Imbibitor Lunae is an Imaginary Destruction damage dealer built around his Basic ATK. Each turn he can spend up to 3 Skill Points to turn it into Fulgurant Leap, a 7-hit Blast attack with huge single-target damage and Toughness reduction. He is extremely Skill Point hungry and really needs Sparkle, or Sunday with his signature Light Cone, to keep up with newer damage dealers.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- CRIT Rate: 75–85%+ (70% minimum for Rutilant Arena)
- CRIT DMG: 145–165%+ before combat
- ATK: 2,200–2,600+
- SPD: base SPD with a hyperspeed support (below 95 for Poet's 32% tier, below 110 for 20%); 134 otherwise
- HP: 3,200+ · DEF: 800+
Talent priority
Major Trace priority: Jolt Anew (A6) > Star Veil (A2) > Aqua Reign (A4). His Basic ATK carries all of his damage, so level it first.
Recommended teams
Double action advance
Prydwen's setup: Sparkle feeds him Skill Points and CRIT DMG, Sunday (with his signature) advances him and boosts his DMG, and Permansor Terrae shields the team and adds ATK. Robin is a good alternative to Sunday.
Hypercarry
Game8's hypercarry: Tingyun adds ATK and Energy for faster Ultimates, and Aventurine's shields and CRIT DMG debuff cost no Skill Points.
How to play
How he works
- Dracore Libre (Skill). Enhances his Basic ATK up to 3 times in the same turn, each level costing 1 Skill Point: Transcendence (3 hits, 260% ATK), Divine Spear (5 hits, 380% ATK plus 60% to adjacent enemies from the 4th hit) and Fulgurant Leap (7 hits, 500% ATK plus 180% to adjacent enemies). The higher the level, the more Energy (30/35/40) and Toughness damage the attack deals.
- Outroar. From the 4th hit of Divine Spear or Fulgurant Leap, each hit gives him +12% CRIT DMG (up to 4 stacks) until the end of his turn.
- Righteous Heart (Talent). Each hit gives him +10% DMG, up to 6 stacks, until the end of his turn.
- Azure's Aqua Ablutes All (Ultimate, 140 Energy). A 3-hit Blast attack (300% ATK, 140% to adjacent enemies) that grants 2 Squama Sacrosancta (up to 3), which replace Skill Points for his next enhancements.
- Traces. A2 gives him 15 Energy at the start of battle, and A6 adds 24% CRIT DMG against Imaginary-weak enemies.
Rotation
- Use his Technique before the fight: he enters combat with an AoE hit and 1 Squama Sacrosancta.
- On each turn, go for Fulgurant Leap whenever you can afford 3 Skill Points (or Squama Sacrosancta); otherwise settle for Divine Spear or Transcendence.
- If your enhanced attack brings him to 140 Energy, cast his Ultimate before the turn ends: it keeps the Righteous Heart and Outroar stacks built during the attack.
- Spend the Squama Sacrosancta from his Ultimate on his next Fulgurant Leap.
Tips
- Skill Points are everything: every teammate should be SP-positive or SP-neutral. Sparkle is tailor-made for him (Skill Points, CRIT DMG and action advance), and Sunday is an upgrade only with his signature Light Cone.
- When a fast Sparkle or Sunday advances him every turn, his own SPD no longer matters: that's what makes 4-piece Poet of Mourning Collapse his best set. Keep his SPD below 95 before combat (his base 102 minus 8% gives 93.8), so no SPD boots and no SPD substats. With Thus Burns the Dawn his base SPD rises to 114 (104.9 with Poet), which only reaches the 20% CRIT Rate tier.
- Silver Wolf can implant an Imaginary Weakness so his A6 always applies.
Strengths
- Huge single-target and Blast damage
- Massive Toughness damage with Fulgurant Leap
- Flexible: spend 1 to 3 Skill Points depending on what the team can afford
- Minor Traces and his A6 make CRIT targets easier to reach
Weaknesses
- Extremely Skill Point hungry, which limits team options
- Struggles a lot without Sparkle or Sunday (with his signature)
- Needs careful team tuning and planning ahead
- Outclassed by newer damage dealers in 4.5 endgame
Notable dupes · Eidolon
Righteous Heart can stack up to 10 times, and each hit grants 2 stacks instead of 1.
After his Ultimate, his action is advanced by 100% and he gains 1 extra Squama Sacrosancta: a free Fulgurant Leap right away. The recommended stopping point.
Each ally Ultimate gives his next Fulgurant Leap 20% Imaginary RES PEN (up to 3 stacks).
