Nicole is a Pyro support who does two jobs with a single button: her Skill gives the whole party a very sturdy shield and a large flat ATK bonus based on her own ATK. Easy to play and build (all she wants is ATK), she props up almost any ATK-scaling team and forms a formidable Hexerei core with Durin, Varka and Lohen.

How to play

How she works

  • Revelation: Uncreated Light (Skill) deals AoE Pyro DMG, creates a Shield of Blazing Light (250% effective against Pyro) and grants Grace of Kenosis to the party: an ATK bonus equal to a share of Nicole's ATK, up to 600 ATK at talent level 10 (reached at 4,000 ATK).
  • Methexis: for 20s, the active character's buff is upgraded to Guidance of Theosis (+300 more ATK) after 3s on the field, or instantly if they are a Hexerei character. It reverts when they leave the field.
  • Revelation: Ladder of Divine Ascent (Burst) enters Silent Contemplation: the active character's hits summon up to 4 Arcane Projections (once every 3s) that attack with that character's stats and element. They are weak on their own, but Hexerei: Secret Rite adds 300% of Nicole's ATK to the projections of Hexerei characters.

Rotation

  1. E at the start of the rotation, ideally right before your main DPS, then swap out.
  2. Use Q only if at least one of these is true: she comes just before the carry, the carry is a Hexerei character, or you need to fill time while waiting for cooldowns.

Her buff uses the ATK she has when casting her Skill: percentage ATK buffs from teammates and artifact sets (such as Noblesse Oblige) count, but most flat ATK buffs, like Bennett's, do not.

Strengths

  • Large team-wide ATK buff, especially strong with several damage dealers
  • Very sturdy shield that brings interruption immunity and comfort
  • Extremely easy to build and play: ATK/ATK/ATK and one button
  • Enables the Hexerei passives of Varka, Lohen, Durin, Fischl and others

Weaknesses

  • Competes with Bennett and Iansan when only one character needs buffing
  • Useless for characters that scale on HP, DEF or EM
  • Her Burst is lackluster outside Hexerei teams

Pathfinder's Blessing adds 70% of her ATK to 8 hits: decent, but mostly a step toward C6.
