The Knights of Favonius' young surveyor is a 4-star Cryo healer who buffs the active character's ATK SPD and Physical DMG. His kit is built for Physical carries like Eula and for Normal Attack-heavy characters, which keeps him in a niche in the current meta. He is still a comfortable free-to-play healer if you enjoy those teams.

How to play

How he works

  • Starfrost Swirl (Skill, 15s CD) grants the party Soulwind for 12s: the active character gains ATK SPD (+22% at talent level 10). Tap fires a piercing Flowfrost Arrow; hold fires a Rimestar Flare that bursts into shards hitting up to 3 other enemies.
  • Suppressive Barrage: each extra enemy hit by the arrow, or each shard hit, adds a Detector stack to Soulwind: +10% Physical DMG per stack. His second passive raises the cap from 3 to 4 stacks and adds 1 more stack when the buffed character lands a CRIT under Eagleplume (C6 raises the cap to 5). Recasting the Skill clears the stacks.
  • Skyfeather Song (Burst, 70 Energy) heals the whole party based on his Max HP and grants Eagleplume for 15s: the active character's Normal Attack hits heal them again (once every 2.5s).

Rotation

  1. Q for the party heal and Eagleplume.
  2. Hold E on a group of enemies (or tap on a line of them) to stack Detector.
  3. Swap to your carry and attack with Normal Attacks to keep the healing going.

The ATK SPD bonus helps carries with fast Normal Attack strings, but it can change the timing of some combos: test it with your main DPS.

Strengths

  • Party healing plus ATK SPD and Physical DMG buffs in one kit
  • His Burst keeps healing as long as the active character uses Normal Attacks
  • Cheap to build and easy to obtain as a 4-star
  • C6 grants a huge +60% Physical CRIT DMG

Weaknesses

  • Physical teams are a small niche in the current meta
  • Few Detector stacks against a single target before C2
  • His buffs only help the active character
  • Very Energy-hungry without Favonius Lance or C4
