Anemo
Catalyst
Wanderer
Eons Adrift
The former Balladeer floats above the battlefield and rains wind blades on everything below. His Skill puts him in the Windfavored state, where his Normal and Charged Attacks become powerful AoE Anemo strikes, and absorbing Pyro or Cryo when he takes off gives him extra ATK or CRIT Rate. Newer carries have pushed him down the rankings, but with Faruzan and Bennett he remains a comfortable, strong single-carry option.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- CRIT Rate 70%+ in combat (the Cryo buff adds 20%)
- CRIT DMG 160%+
- ATK around 2,000 before buffs
- Energy Recharge 100–130% (105–115% with a second Anemo unit)
Talent priority
Before C2, his Burst is a small part of his damage, so Normal Attack and Skill come first. From C2, raise the Burst right after Normal Attack.
Recommended teams
Wanderer hypercarry
His strongest team: Faruzan's Anemo buffs, Bennett's ATK and Pyro absorption, Furina's DMG Bonus and off-field Hydro.
Shielded hypercarry
Zhongli's shield prevents interruptions in the air and shreds RES.
How to play
How he works
- Hanega: Song of the Wind (Skill, 6s CD) deals AoE Anemo DMG and lifts him into Windfavored: Normal Attacks become Kuugo: Fushoudan and Charged Attacks become Kuugo: Toufukai (no Stamina cost), both with more DMG and AoE. Hovering drains his 100 Kuugoryoku Points; dashing and jumping drain more. Pressing E again ends the state early.
- Jade-Claimed Flower: if his Skill touches Pyro, Cryo, Hydro or Electro when cast, Windfavored gains up to 2 buffs: Pyro +30% ATK, Cryo +20% CRIT Rate, Hydro +20 max Kuugoryoku, Electro Energy on hits. Casting it inside Bennett's Burst is the easiest way to grab the Pyro buff.
- Gales of Reverie: his attacks can grant Descent, which makes the next mid-air dash free and fires 4 wind arrows. Only dash when Descent is ready.
- Kyougen: Five Ceremonial Plays (Burst, 60 Energy) ends Windfavored. From C2, it deals up to +200% DMG based on the Kuugoryoku you spent, so cast it at the end of his field time.
Rotation
- Set up your supports: Faruzan E Q, Bennett Q (and Furina or Zhongli).
- Swap to the Wanderer and press E inside Bennett's field to absorb Pyro.
- Chain Normal Attack strings (N3 with Tulaytullah's Remembrance) and Charged Attacks, dashing only on Descent.
- Fire Q when Kuugoryoku runs low, then swap out.
He is weak to interruptions while hovering: a shield or a healer (Bennett, Furina with a healer, Zhongli) makes him much more comfortable.
Strengths
- Strong, consistent AoE damage from the air
- Ignores most ground mechanics and dodges many melee attacks while hovering
- Self-sufficient CRIT Rate or ATK through Pyro and Cryo absorption
- Excellent exploration character
Weaknesses
- Clearly behind the newest carries, including Stellar Swirl DPS like Vesna
- Leans heavily on Faruzan, ideally at C6
- Easily interrupted in the air without a shield or healer
- Tall hitboxes and flying enemies can make his attacks miss
Notable dupes · Constellation
+10% ATK SPD in Windfavored and stronger wind arrows.
Up to +200% Burst DMG based on spent Kuugoryoku: his biggest damage jump.
Extra Kuugo: Fushoudan hits and Kuugoryoku refunds: much longer, much stronger field time.
