Anemo
Catalyst
Ifa
In the Wake of Wandering Winds
Natlan's saurian vet floats above the battlefield with his partner Cacucu, firing Tonicshots that swirl elements and heal the whole party. His Rescue Essentials boost the Swirl, Stellar Swirl, Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged DMG of the entire team, which makes him a cheap, comfortable on-field driver for Lunar-Charged and Electro-Charged teams.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- Energy Recharge 160–200% at C0 to Burst every rotation; much less from C1
- Elemental Mastery 800–1,000
- About 30% CRIT Rate only if you use Favonius Codex
Talent priority
Character level matters more than talents because Swirl DMG scales with it. A CRIT/Anemo DMG build (Obsidian Codex, Cashflow Supervision) exists for personal Anemo damage, but it is a niche option.
Recommended teams
Lunar-Charged
His strongest team: Columbina and Ineffa turn Electro-Charged into Lunar-Charged, Ororon adds Electro and Nightsoul points, and Ifa drives, heals and boosts the reaction.
Lunar-Charged with Aino
Only one 5-star: Aino provides Hydro and Moonsign, Ineffa enables Lunar-Charged and shields.
How to play
How he works
- Airborne Disease Prevention (Skill) grants 80 Nightsoul points and puts him in Nightsoul's Blessing: he hovers, and his Normal Attacks become Supporting Fire (Tap or Hold), firing Tonicshots that deal Anemo DMG and heal the whole party.
- Field Medic's Vision (A1): while in Nightsoul's Blessing, every Nightsoul point held by the whole party gives him 1 Rescue Essentials point, which raises the DMG of nearby party members' reactions: +1.5% Swirl and Electro-Charged, +0.24% Stellar Swirl and +0.2% Lunar-Charged per point, up to 150 points (so at most +225%, +36% and +30%). Natlan teammates with Nightsoul points (Ororon, Iansan…) push it higher.
- Compound Sedation Field (Burst) pulls enemies together, deals Nightsoul-aligned Anemo DMG and marks enemies affected by Hydro, Pyro, Cryo or Electro.
- Mutual Aid Agreement (A4): +80 Elemental Mastery for 10s when a teammate triggers a Nightsoul Burst.
Rotation
- Set up your off-field units (Ororon, Ineffa, Columbina, Xingqiu, Fischl…).
- Swap to Ifa: Q, then E.
- Hold Normal Attack to fire a long stream of Tonicshots (tap instead if you need to proc Xingqiu or Yelan more often).
- Swap out when his Nightsoul points run dry and start again.
His damage is almost entirely reaction damage: level him to 90 before touching his talents, and build Elemental Mastery rather than ATK.
Strengths
- Boosts Swirl, Stellar Swirl, Electro-Charged and Lunar-Charged DMG for the whole team
- Heals the whole party while he is on the field
- Easy, low-stress playstyle: hover and hold Normal Attack
- 4-star with strong, accessible constellations
Weaknesses
- Low personal damage outside of reactions
- Rescue Essentials needs Nightsoul points from other Natlan characters to reach its full value
- High Energy Recharge needs at C0
- Outclassed by Mizuki and Vesna in Stellar Swirl teams
Notable dupes · Constellation
Supporting Fire restores 6 Energy every 8s: massively lowers his Energy Recharge needs.
4 extra Rescue Essentials per party Nightsoul point above 60, and a cap raised by 50: a big reaction buff in Natlan teams.
Longer grouping from his Burst and +100 EM for 15s.
Extra Tonicshots with Hold Supporting Fire: mostly personal damage.
