Ye Shunguang
Sword Keeper of the Qingming Sword
Ye Shunguang, the Sword Keeper of Yunkui Summit, is an Attack Agent with Void Hunter-level power whose unique Honed Edge attribute counts as Physical. In her Enlightened Mind state she applies Ether Veil: Verdict, which lets her benefit from the enemy's Stun DMG Multiplier even outside of Stun. The result is enormous damage, near-constant invulnerability and a gameplan that's easy to pick up.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- CRIT Rate no higher than ~50% on the stat screen (her kit and White Water Ballad cover the rest)
- CRIT DMG 180–200%+
- ATK 3,000+
- HP 10,000+, DEF 600+
Talent priority
Her Stun DMG Multiplier bonus from Ether Veil: Verdict is capped at 210% and applies only to her, not to her teammates.
Recommended teams
Premium: Sunna & Zhao
The most used team in the current Shiyu Defense. Both teammates activate Ether Veils often (3 Sword Force points each time), Sunna's buffs are easy to maintain, and Zhao needs very little field time.
Dialyn & Sunna
Dialyn's Ultimate conversion gives her 6 points instantly, and the +30% Stun DMG Multiplier from Malicious Complaint also applies outside Stun thanks to Ether Veil: Verdict.
How to play
Normal state: build Qingming Sword Force
- Basic Attacks fill her gauge. Each full gauge gives 1 Qingming Sword Force point (6 max). Her EX Special Attack gives 1 point right away, and her Ultimate gives 6 and puts her straight into Enlightened Mind.
- With a Support or Defense teammate (Additional Ability), every Ether Veil that ally activates gives her 3 points. Anything above 6 becomes Bearer stacks (3 max).
- At 6 points, swap to her (or hold Basic) to cast her Entry Skill and enter Enlightened Mind (16s timer that only runs while she's on-field). Apply buffs such as King of the Summit or Astral Voice right before.
- Don't use her Ultimate above 3 points, or you'll overcap.
Enlightened Mind: standard combo
Sunderlight ×2 → Sunderlight Annihilation (spends 2 points, grants a Culmination stack) → Sunderlight Maximum → EX: Soaring Light (uses Culmination) → Sunderlight → Annihilation → Maximum → Soaring Light → hold Special: Return to Dust.
Inputs: B > B > B > B > EX > B > B > B > EX (hold)
- If you entered through an Ultimate that consumed Decibels, press Ultimate at the end for Cleaving Heavens instead of Return to Dust.
- Use the shorter version (Annihilation → Maximum → Soaring Light ×2) when you can get back into Enlightened Mind quickly.
- The first two hits of her grounded Splitting Currents are not invulnerable.
Skip her hold Basic (sword waves) and her normal-state Chain Attack unless you really need Decibels. In Enlightened Mind, her Chain Attack sends her back into the air and pauses the timer.
Strengths
- Absurdly high damage that shreds every encounter, even Physical-resistant enemies.
- Low skill floor and near-constant invulnerability.
- Easy to build: low CRIT Rate needs and several good W-Engine options.
- Strong enough to work with many different teams.
Weaknesses
- Performs noticeably better with specific partners (Sunna, Zhao, Dialyn).
- Needs a lot of field time to build Sword Force, which limits on-field teammates.
- Some players may find her loop repetitive.
Notable dupes · Mindscape Cinema
Starts battle with 6 Sword Force points, and her Core Passive's Unity effect gets +10% DMG and 20% DEF ignore.
More Bearer and Culmination stacks, and Soaring Light and Cleaving Heavens ignore 40% DEF.
Lantern Wish stacks unlock extra Cleaving Heavens casts, and her finishers deal an extra 1,500% ATK as Physical DMG.
