Seed
Heavy Weapons Specialist of Obol Squad
Seed is an Electric Attack Agent designed for dual-DPS teams. The Attack teammate with the highest ATK becomes her Vanguard, and each time one of them uses an EX Special Attack, the other gains up to +1,000 ATK and +30% CRIT DMG, plus +25% DMG for both once both buffs are active. She deals most of her damage through her mech's Basic Attacks, and she's currently played mostly alongside Cissia.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- CRIT Rate 75–90%+
- CRIT DMG 110–140%+ on the stat screen (her Core Passive adds 30% more in combat)
- ATK 2,700–3,000+
- HP 10,000+, DEF 800+ for comfort
Talent priority
Use disc 4 to balance your CRIT ratio: Prydwen prefers CRIT DMG, Game8 CRIT Rate (her Core Passive already gives CRIT DMG). On disc 5, Prydwen rates PEN Ratio slightly above Electric DMG and ATK%.
Recommended teams
Electric duo: Cissia & Astra Yao
Seed's most used team in both Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault. Cissia becomes her Vanguard, and since they share the Electric attribute, Cissia's Additional Ability gives the whole squad +40% CRIT DMG. Astra Yao adds buffs, healing and Quick Assists. Recommended Bangboo: Plugboo, whose Chain Attack builds far more Anomaly with two Electric Agents.
Double Obol: Cissia & Trigger
Game8's main team and her second most used on Prydwen. Trigger brings off-field Daze so both DPS keep their field time. Orphie & Magus, Prydwen's favourite partner for Seed, can take Cissia's slot. Recommended Bangboo: Mercury, which gets stronger with Trigger's Aftershocks while a Defense Force Agent is in the squad.
F2P: Billy & Nicole
Game8's free-to-play team. Billy becomes the Vanguard and gets far more out of Seed's buffs than he would elsewhere, while Nicole shreds DEF and gathers enemies. Recommended Bangboo: Booressure, which gives off-field Agents extra Energy when a Support is in the squad.
How to play
Vanguard buffs
- At the start of battle, the Attack teammate with the highest initial ATK becomes her Vanguard.
- When the Vanguard uses an EX Special Attack, Seed gains Onslaught; when Seed uses one, the Vanguard gains Direct Strike. Each gives +1,000 ATK and +30% CRIT DMG at max Core Skill level, for 40s. With both active, Seed and the Vanguard also get Besiege (+25% DMG).
- These buffs only apply while the Agent is on field (and for 3s after swapping out), so keep refreshing them with EX Specials from both sides.
- Additional Ability (with another Attack Agent in the squad): while Seed is on field dealing damage, her Vanguard recovers 2 Energy (once per second), and Falling Petals - Slaughter, Falling Petals - Downfall and her Ultimate deal 30% more DMG and ignore 25% of Electric RES.
Steel Charge
- Her gauge caps at 150 and starts at 60. At 120 or more, follow Falling Petals - Slaughter (the mech's charged punch) with another Basic Attack press to unleash Falling Petals - Downfall, which uses 60 Steel Charge per form.
- Main sources: the 4th Basic Attack hit, EX Special, Chain Attack, Assist Follow-Up, Ultimate (+60), and 0.5 per point of Energy spent by Seed or her on-field Vanguard.
- Slaughter comes after a 4th Basic hit, a Dodge Counter, a Quick Assist or an Assist Follow-Up, and triggers on its own after a full 60-Energy EX Special.
- She's invulnerable during Slaughter, Downfall and her EX Special, and Downfall is long: swap out while it plays.
Combos
- Out of Stun: loop Basic Attack strings and Dodge Counters (the 3rd hit dodges automatically), use an EX Special regularly to refresh Dawn's Bloom and Direct Strike, and spend Steel Charge on Downfall whenever you reach 120.
- Stun burst (Prydwen): full EX Special just before the Stun → Slaughter → Downfall → swap to the Vanguard for an EX Special → Stunner Chain Attack → Seed Chain Attack → cancel → Ultimate → Downfall → swap to the Vanguard for their burst.
- Without an Ultimate, save Energy and use an EX Special where the Ultimate would go.
When the Vanguard needs a lot of field time (Soldier 0 - Anby, for example), Seed can also stay in the back, swapping in to feed Energy, refresh her buffs and burst during Stuns.
Strengths
- Invulnerable during most of her big attacks, with an automatic dodge on her 3rd Basic Attack hit.
- Huge two-way buffs with any Attack Agent: ATK, CRIT DMG, DMG and Energy for her Vanguard.
- Makes niche Attack Agents such as Billy or Nekomata viable and opens many team options.
- Her combos are easy to execute once you understand her resources.
Weaknesses
- Needs another Attack Agent, and both of them want field time.
- Demands careful management of Steel Charge, Energy and buffs that only work on field.
- Relies on her signature W-Engine more than most: over 80% of players on Prydwen use it.
Notable dupes · Mindscape Cinema
Downfall only needs 100 Steel Charge, she gains extra Steel Charge on entering battle and when using her Ultimate, and Downfall gets +30% CRIT DMG.
Besiege makes both Seed and her Vanguard ignore 20% of DEF, and her EX Special can channel up to 120 Energy to boost the next Slaughter. Game8's top Mindscape for her.
+50% CRIT DMG, and each Slaughter fires 3 extra lasers dealing 165% of her ATK.
