Fire
Stun
Lighter
Champion of the Sons of Calydon
Lighter is a Fire Stunner who plays almost like a Support: one short Morale combo stuns enemies, cuts their Ice and Fire RES by 15%, extends the Stun by 3s and gives the squad up to +75% Ice and Fire DMG. He needs very little field time, but his buffs only matter for Fire and Ice teams. Norma and Dialyn now outclass him, yet he remains a strong pick for Fire and Ice CRIT damage dealers.

Main stats
Substat priority
Stat targets
- Impact 170–195+ on the stat screen (270 in combat maxes Elation at +75%)
- CRIT Rate 50%+ (required by King of the Summit)
- ATK 1,700–2,000+ (optional)
- CRIT DMG 100–120%+ (optional)
- HP 10,500+, DEF 800+
Talent priority
Level his Core Skill first: it raises the Impact bonus from Morale. Then Basic Attack (his whole combo) and Special Attack, then Assist, which he uses on every entry.
Recommended teams
Ice: Sigrid & Astra Yao
Sigrid teams post Lighter's best scores in the current Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault, and Astra Yao is their most common third member (Rina scores even higher). Sigrid is an Attack Agent, so his Elation is active, and she makes the most of the Ice RES Shred and extended Stuns. Bangboo: any strong generic pick, since neither faction bonus applies.
Fire: Evelyn & Astra Yao
His most used team in the current Deadly Assault, and Game8's Fire team. Evelyn gets all of his Fire buffs and RES Shred. Bangboo: Snap, whose Additional Ability works with two Stars of Lyra members (Evelyn and Astra Yao).
How to play
Morale
- Lighter gains Morale on his own (2.9 per second, even off-field) plus 0.26 for each point of Energy any squad member spends, up to 100.
- At 80+ Morale, his next switch-in is a free Quick Assist, and the 5th hit of his Basic Attack puts him in the Morale Burst state.
- In Morale Burst, his jab combo keeps draining Morale. Every 10 Morale spent gives him Impact +2% (up to +20%), the jabs cut the target's Ice and Fire RES by 15% for 30s, and the Finishing Move applies Collapse, which adds 3s to the enemy's next Stun.
- If Morale runs out during the jabs, he automatically throws a stronger Finishing Move. Always drain it to 0.
Elation (Additional Ability)
With an Attack Agent or a Sons of Calydon member in the squad, each hit of his empowered 5th Basic Attack gives the whole squad a stack of Elation (20 max, 30s): +1.25% Ice and Fire DMG per stack. Every 10 Impact above 170 adds 0.25% per stack, so 270 Impact in combat maxes it at +75%. Any Chain Attack refreshes Elation, so the uptime is almost permanent.
Rotation
- Wait for 80-100 Morale (100 is best).
- Switch in with Defensive Assist → Assist Follow-Up (or his free Quick Assist): both skip straight to the 5th Basic Attack.
- Hold Basic Attack: jab combo until Morale hits 0, then the empowered Finishing Move.
- If you have Energy, add his EX Special Attack and its follow-up (40 + 20 Energy).
- Swap out and let Morale refill.
Tips
- His Dodge Counter also skips to the 5th hit and deals good Daze. Use it whenever he happens to be on-field.
- Never overcap Energy: swap him in for an EX if needed, since spending Energy also feeds Morale.
- His Chain Attack and Ultimate are plain: give the Chain Attack slot to your DPS when you can.
Strengths
- Huge squad buff: up to +75% Ice and Fire DMG, plus 15% Ice and Fire RES Shred.
- Unique Stun extension: Collapse adds 3s to the Stun window.
- Front-loaded combo with very little field time, and simple to play.
- Great Daze output in a short burst.
Weaknesses
- Only really useful in Fire and Ice teams.
- Needs 270 Impact in combat for the full buff, which is hard without an S-Rank Stun W-Engine.
- His Daze comes in bursts: there can be downtime when Morale, Energy and counter chances are all missing.
- Norma and Dialyn now do the Fire/Ice Stunner job better.
Notable dupes · Mindscape Cinema
Collapse extends Stun by 5s instead of 3s and cuts Ice and Fire RES by 10% more, and his strongest Finishing Move deals +30% DMG.
Collapse raises the target's Stun DMG Multiplier by 25%, and Elation is 20% stronger (up to +90%). Game8's recommended stopping point.
Energy Regen +10% for the on-field Agent while he's off-field, plus 4 Energy for his off-field teammates when he enters Morale Burst (once every 18s).
Twice the Morale recovery and a big extra Fire hit (Blazing Impact) that scales with Impact above 170.
