Jiaoqiu is a Fire Nihility debuffer whose Ashen Roast stacks make enemies take up to 35% more DMG while burning them. His Ultimate spreads the highest stack count to every enemy and opens a Zone that increases Ultimate DMG taken and keeps applying Ashen Roast on enemy turns. He was designed for Acheron, but his vulnerability suits any damage dealer.

How to play
How he works
- Ashen Roast (Talent). His Basic ATK, Skill and Ultimate each apply 1 stack (100% base chance). 1 stack = +15% DMG taken, then +5% per extra stack, up to 5 stacks (+35%) for 2 turns. Ashen Roast also counts as Burn and deals Fire DoT at the start of the enemy's turn.
- Skill. Blast attack that applies an extra stack on the main target: the fastest way to build stacks.
- Ultimate (100 Energy). Sets every enemy's stacks to the highest count on the field, then opens a Zone for 3 of his turns: enemies take 15% more Ultimate DMG and have a 60% base chance to gain 1 stack when they act (up to 6 times per Ultimate, once per enemy per turn).
- Traces. A2 gives 15 Energy at the start of battle. A4 turns Effect Hit Rate into ATK: +60% ATK for every 15% above 80%, up to +240% at 140%. A6 applies Ashen Roast to enemies who join the fight while the Zone is active (new waves, summons).
Rotation
- Use his Technique to open with AoE DMG and 1 stack on every enemy.
- Skill on the main target to stack Ashen Roast quickly.
- Ultimate to spread the stacks to all enemies and keep the Zone up; use Basic ATKs when your team needs Skill Points.
Tips
- 140% Effect Hit Rate is his key target: it maxes out his A4 and makes his debuffs land reliably.
- With Acheron, each of his abilities that applies a debuff gives her Slashed Dream, and he fills a Nihility slot for her Traces.
- In DoT teams, his Ashen Roast counts as a Burn for Kafka's and Black Swan's effects.
