Version 9.1 revealed: the Dreamseeker becomes the "Herrscher of Time" for HI3's 10th anniversary

HI3's next update is no longer a mystery. On September 24, 2026, the Chinese server moved to v9.1 (时序照新), and the official patch notes give us a clear picture of what Global will receive next. On Global, the official v9.0 notes list the current version as running until October 22, so that is the most likely launch window. The exact date and the final English/French names have not been announced yet.

Everything below comes from the official CN announcements. Names marked (provisional) are translations, and Global details (dates, rewards) may differ slightly.

New S-rank: the Dreamseeker's "Herrscher of Time"

The protagonist of Part 2 gets a playable form: Herrscher of Time (provisional; CN 时序之律者).

• IMG type, Fire DMG, wields a Drive Core.
• Protected by the Wheel of Destiny Astral Ring specialization. After a Phantom assist, some of her moves get stronger.
• Her kit "rewinds" damage: non-HP-loss damage dealt by the team and AstralOps is stored, then spent by specific moves for extra HP-loss damage.
• She has every Astral Ring trait, so she fits many teams. When she joins a team led by Planar Armament: Warped Spacetime or Behold! Fate-Defying Dragon, she also raises the whole team's matching Elemental DMG and Total DMG.
• Senadina (AstralOp) unlocks a new ability: in a team led by the Herrscher of Time, she boosts her Fire DMG and Total DMG and raises the team's starting Astral Ring level.

How to get her (CN): her banner guarantees her within 90 pulls, with the first 10-pull free. Her Drive Core weapon and signature stigma set get rate-ups in the Equipment Supply, the set is craftable (2 Source Prisms + 600 Ether Fuel per piece), and a 7-day login event gives one stigma of your choice.

Story and events

• Part 2 epilogue (provisional title: "The Sea Sings With the Voice of Fire").
• Theme event: Elysia and friends run an arcade. Rewards include a new outfit for Lone Planetfarer.

10th anniversary (CN server)

• Free character selector: one of Jovial Deception: Shadowdimmer, Lone Destruction: Shadowchaser or Mad Pleasure: Shadowbringer.
• From October 1 (CN): two free celebration 10-pull tickets (claimable until October 22), plus a 7-day login box with a choice of Lunar Vow: Crimson Love or Deepspace Anchor: First Light.
• The Dorm Supply adds Herrscher of Rebirth, Miracle ☆ Magical Girl, Lunar Vow: Crimson Love and Fenghuang of Vicissitude.
