Behold! Fate-Defying Dragon is Coralie's S-rank MECH-type Fire Rocket Hammer user and Part 2's first Ignite DPS: every hit she deals counts as Ignite DMG. Protected by Rite of Oblivion, she swallows flames to power a relentless dragon rush. Above all she is the premier Breach support of the game: she was the most used support in the v8.5 CN Myriad Abyss top 100 and remains the best primary support for Grail of Infinitude and Law of Ascension teams.

Guide

How to play

Core loop

  • After her QTE or Basic ATK SEQ 4, tap Weapon quickly for Rampant Dragon Claws: 1,100% ATK of Fire DMG, Ignite Trauma and 1 stack of Guzzled Flames (1 max, 3 during Stellar Outburst).
  • Her Ultimate consumes Guzzled Flames to unleash Dragon Torrent: 7, 17 or 30 attacks for 1, 2 or 3 stacks.
  • If an enemy has built up Trauma of a status covered by the leader's traits but is not yet affected, Rampant Dragon Claws adds a large chunk of that Trauma. All Freeze, Paralyze, Stun, Ignite and Bleed states from the team last 50% longer.

Astral Ring (Rite of Oblivion)

  • Rampant Dragon Claws consumes her Stellar Drain and restores 20 Astral Ring Intensity; she starts every battle with Stellar Drain.
  • When a teammate consumes their Stellar Drain, her switch CD drops by 8s and her QTE triggers.
  • As the leader, entering Stellar Outburst for the first time launches Dragonbreath Onslaught. Her leader skill wants teammates with the Omniscient Star trait (Rite of Oblivion); Planar Armament: Warped Spacetime is the exception that still works.

As a support

  • Casting her Ultimate or entering Stellar Outburst gives the team Dragon's Dominion for 25s: Elemental or Physical Breach, higher under Law of Ascension or Grail of Infinitude. From S1, enemies also take 12% more Elemental DMG and 10% more Physical DMG from allies with Dragon's Dominion.

Marisa Impact's Stellar Outburst loop: enter Outburst, hold ATK until Dragon Breath ends, ATK x2, Weapon, Ultimate, repeat.

Strengths

  • The best primary support for Grail of Infinitude and Law of Ascension teams: Breach plus strong buffs.
  • Extends every status ailment by 50% and tops up the leader's Trauma, which helps Freeze, Paralyze and Ignite teams.
  • Fun and easy Stellar Outburst DPS loop.
  • Also the best support for Lone Planetfarer's team.

Weaknesses

  • As a DPS she needs Planar Armament: Warped Spacetime or two Rite of Oblivion teammates to reach full power.
  • Her strongest support value is locked behind the full signature set.
  • Like other Part 2 DPS, she excels in her match-ups (she took over Sirin's bosses) but is only decent elsewhere.
