Lunar Vow: Crimson Love is Theresa's S-rank PSY-type Lightning battlesuit, a chainsaw fighter whose Frenzy mode shreds enemies with Lightning and Bleed. Since v8.7, her Divine Key Pact of Companionship unlocks Grail of Infinitude and a new Ultimate, which brought her back into the meta as a Grail of Infinitude DPS and turned her into a sought-after support: Planar Armament's top score against Extreme Parvati used her, and she is one of the best Law of Ascension supports for Peregrine Sword thanks to her extra Bleed stacks.

On Lunar Vow: Crimson Love, her Ultimate, QTE or Stellar Outburst gives the whole team A Waltz Together (25s): big Elemental, Physical and Total DMG buffs and vulnerabilities for Symbiosis teammates under Grail of Infinitude, or for everyone under Law of Ascension.

2pParadoxical Philosophy set. +35% Total DMG; Lightning DMG from Combo ATKs applies a 15s Butterfly Mark, and a marked enemy explodes for 100% ATK of Lightning DMG every 4 hits from the wearer (CD: 1.5s).
3pButterfly Mark explosions restore 2 SP, and the Ultimate Evasion Skill gives +60% Lightning DMG against marked enemies for 15s.
2pDepicter Impression set. Every 10 Bleed DMG instances trigger a 500% ATK Physical hit that counts as Bleed DMG (CD: 5s); on Starry Impression with the B piece, her Ultimate marks all enemies, who then take 36% more Total DMG for 12s when the mark ends (CD: 20s).
3pATK Speed +35%; after an Ultimate, Total DMG against unshielded or shield-broken enemies rises by 2% per Bleed stack on them (up to 10%) for 20s.

Since v8.9, her Character Card, Rank-Up Stamps, Bloodied Casket and Darkness Illuminated are sold in the Battle Pass Reserve Works, and her Rank-Up Stamps are also in the Witch's Corridor since v8.8 (official notes).

Behold! Fate-Defying Dragon or Lone Planetfarer gives Peregrine Sword her Breach state (and a rare Bleed DMG buff), while Lunar Vow raises her Bleed stack cap by 9 and makes each stack hit harder (Marisa Impact).

How to play

Core loop (with Pact of Companionship)

  • Her Ultimate becomes Resolve to Protect Her Beloved (150 SP, 6s CD; the first cast costs 60 SP less): it fully refills Biting Mark, enters Frenzy with Blazing Blood and triggers 4s of global Time Fracture.
  • In Frenzy, keep tapping Weapon for Hunting Time: each slash consumes Biting Mark, speeds up and inflicts Bleed Trauma, and with Blazing Blood it also throws a light spear. When Biting Mark runs out (or when you hold Weapon), she finishes with In the Name of Protection (+275% ATK with Blazing Blood, +525% more when it auto-casts during Astral Ring Charging).
  • Her QTE becomes Unshackled From Rules (Time Slow, or a teammate's Weapon Skill or Ultimate) and, during Astral Ring Charging, tops her SP up to 150.
  • Outside Frenzy, hold Weapon or sprint after an Ultimate Evasion to recharge Biting Mark. Entering Frenzy grants Elemental Breach, and her Ultimate gives Elemental Breach to every Lightning teammate.

Astral Ring (Grail of Infinitude)

  • During Astral Ring Charging, her Ultimate consumes her Stellar Drain (10 Intensity).
  • In Stellar Outburst the team shares one SP pool. As the leader, her Frenzy slashes stay at max speed and spend SP for extra light spears, a 300-SP auto In the Name of Protection deals +715% ATK, and the SP she spends turns into Shining Trace that triggers Facet of Infinitude. After In the Name of Protection, cast her Link Ultimate Fireworks With You (once per Outburst); as the leader it ends Stellar Outburst early and refunds 40% of the remaining time as Intensity.
  • As a support, her first QTE entry in Stellar Outburst makes Fireworks With You available and her next Ultimate free; her set gives Symbiosis teammates large Elemental, Physical and Total DMG buffs.

Law of Ascension support

  • With a Law of Ascension leader, she casts her old Ultimate as her Stellar Shift, and Resolve to Protect Her Beloved clears the leader's switch CD and triggers the leader's QTE and Heavenly Link. A Bleed-capable leader (Peregrine Sword) gets 9 extra Bleed stacks, stronger Bleed ticks and dyed enemies.

Marisa Impact's loops. Astral Ring Charging: Ultimate if you have enough SP (otherwise Weapon), then evade, hold ATK for the chainsaw slash and press ATK at the end for the finisher; repeat. Stellar Outburst: optional Weapon first, enter Outburst, Ultimate, spam Weapon until the finisher, then Fireworks With You.

Strengths

  • Back in the meta since v8.7: a Grail of Infinitude DPS with a smoother rotation, after years as a top Part 1 Lightning/Bleed DPS.
  • Flexible support: Grail of Infinitude (Planar Armament's top score against Extreme Parvati) and Law of Ascension (one of the best supports for Peregrine Sword).
  • Strong team buffs from her Divine Key and Uncrowned Autocrat set, plus Elemental Breach for Lightning teammates.
  • Very safe in Frenzy (Iron Body, 80% DMG reduction), and her PRI-ARM and stigmata set are craftable in the Foundry.

Weaknesses

  • Needs the v8.7 Divine Key: without Pact of Companionship she has no Astral Ring and is stuck in Part 1 teams.
  • Her Stellar Outburst SP and Frenzy management is demanding, especially as the leader.
  • Bleed DMG cannot crit and does not count as Melee or Ranged DMG.
  • New or F2P players should prioritise the newest battlesuits (Marisa Impact).
