Night Squire
Fu Hua
Night Squire is Fu Hua's A-rank BIO-type Physical gauntlet user from v2.3. She mixes punch and kick inputs into four different Combo ATKs, spends Ripple to empower their final hits, and her Ultimate opens an 8s Burst mode where every button press is a Combo ATK. She was one of the strongest battlesuits of her time and has one of the highest skill ceilings in the game (Marisa Impact), but she has no Astral Ring: she is obsolete in 9.0 and only worth playing for fun in older content.

Stat targets
- Stigmata affixes: ATK on every piece
- Reach S rank first: it unlocks most of her kit (Magister, Imperator, Catastrophe, Marshal, Devouring Wolf)
- Keep at least 1 Ripple for every Combo ATK finisher
Talent priority
Where to get her: Open World, Expedition, Dorm Supply, Dorm Shop and Elysian Shop. All Part 1 A-rank battlesuits are outdated, so farm whichever one you like first (Marisa Impact).
Recommended teams
Part 1 Physical supports
Herrscher of Rebirth (Impair, Crit, SP) and Reign Solaris (shield break, Stun Trauma) are the go-to supports of Part 1 Physical teams. They make her playable in older content, but any newer Physical DPS uses them better. No Astral Ring for Night Squire here.
Classic Physical support + free buffs
A throwback team: Celestial Hymn impairs enemies (DEF -75%) and gives Crit DMG, Physical DMG and SP, and Valkyrie Blastmetal adds team-wide Total DMG buffs that work even without an Astral Ring. With Night Squire as the leader, BIO battlesuits (her and Celestial Hymn) get +36% Crit DMG. Two Fu Hua battlesuits cannot share a team, so Valkyrie Accipiter is not an option here.
How to play
Six Fists inputs
- Her Ultimate button doubles as a kick button when tapped. Three punches = Ri-Ki Darting Kite, three kicks = Ri-Ki Phoenix Soar; both restore 1 Ripple and give Iron Body with 40% less Physical DMG taken for 5s.
- Combo ATKs (Combo: Aurora): punch-punch-kick = Raptor Strike, punch-kick-kick = Rending Claw, kick-kick-punch = Talon Storm, kick-punch-punch = Moon Anseri (400% to 520% ATK of Physical DMG).
- She starts with 3 Ripple (max 5). With Ripple, a Combo ATK's final hit spends 1 Ripple for 300% ATK of bonus Physical DMG and, from S rank, +40% Physical DMG for 4s and +4% Crit Rate per hit (up to 5 stacks).
- From S rank, Raptor Strike or Rending Claw marks the target, and Talon Storm or Moon Anseri detonates the mark for 200% ATK of bonus Physical DMG: alternate the two pairs.
Ultimate: Thousand Stars (100 SP)
- 8s Burst mode with max Ripple and +30% ATK Speed (+80% more from S rank): any attack button goes straight into a Combo ATK, and nearby enemies are slowed by 50%.
- From SS rank it inflicts Bleed Trauma around her, and from SSS rank nearby enemies take 40% more Physical DMG.
Tips
- Ultimate Evasion triggers a 3s Time Fracture (4.5s with Vengeance, CD 11s from S rank) and gives 1 Ripple plus 25% Crit Rate.
- Her QTE (Emperor's Ax) triggers on airborne enemies: 900% ATK of Physical DMG and a 3s Time Fracture.
- From S rank she deals 30% more Total DMG to bleeding, ignited or slowed enemies while she has Ripple. From SS rank she regains Ripple off-field and, if she leaves with 0 Ripple, the team gets +15% Total DMG for 10s.
Leader skill: team +18% max HP, and BIO-type battlesuits +36% Crit DMG (S rank).
Strengths
- Four Combo ATKs, animation cancels and one of the highest skill ceilings in the game: very fun to master.
- Burst mode turns every button into a Combo ATK and slows enemies around her.
- Iron Body, damage reduction and Time Fracture keep her safe.
- Easy to farm: Open World, Expedition, Dorm Supply, Dorm Shop and Elysian Shop (Marisa Impact).
Weaknesses
- Obsolete in 9.0: no Astral Ring, low damage by current standards.
- Almost all of her kit is locked behind S rank.
- Demanding inputs for very little payoff today.
Notable dupes · Rank
Unlocks most of her kit: Magister (+40% Physical DMG), Imperator (+30% Total DMG against bleeding, ignited or slowed enemies), Catastrophe (mark and detonate), Marshal (Crit Rate stacks), +80% ATK Speed in Burst mode and a shorter Time Fracture CD.
Bleed Trauma in Burst mode, Ripple regen off-field and +15% team Total DMG when she leaves with 0 Ripple.
In Burst mode, nearby enemies take 40% more Physical DMG.
