Natlan's renowned smith and part-time DJ is one of the most flexible supports in Genshin. A quick Skill and two kicks on her roller skates are enough to shred the RES of every element in her team, and her Burst heals the party. She fits almost any Pyro, Hydro, Cryo or Electro carry, and her Nightsoul Burst trigger helps every Natlan teammate.

Her RES shred scales only with her Skill level (36% at level 10, 45% at 13), so level it first. If a shielder or another healer covers sustain, you can skip her Burst and cut her Energy Recharge down to almost nothing.

How to play

How she works

  • Yohual's Scratch (Skill) deals Geo DMG based on her DEF, gives 45 Nightsoul points and puts her in Nightsoul's Blessing (Blade Roller mode).
  • She carries 3 Source Samples, all Geo by default. Each Pyro, Hydro, Cryo or Electro teammate converts one of them to that element.
  • Netotiliztli's Echoes: with at least 2 converted samples, her Normal and Plunging hits give 35 Nightsoul points. At full Nightsoul points she activates all samples for 15s, lowering the matching RES of nearby enemies (36% at Skill level 10, even off-field).
  • Portable Armored Sheath: reaching full Nightsoul points also counts as a Nightsoul Burst (once every 14s), which powers up Natlan teammates such as Mualani, Mavuika or Chasca.
  • Ocelotlicue Point! (Burst) deals Geo DMG and, with at least 2 converted samples, heals the active character over time based on her DEF.

Rotation

  1. E, then two Normal Attacks (N2): the samples activate right away.
  2. Add Q before the combo when the team needs healing (Furina teams in particular).
  3. Swap out: the RES shred lasts 15s while she is off-field.

At least two of her three teammates must be Pyro, Hydro, Cryo or Electro. With two other Anemo, Geo or Dendro units, she loses both her healing and her RES shred.

Strengths

  • Huge, easy-to-trigger multi-element RES shred with less than two seconds of field time
  • Heals the party and triggers Nightsoul Bursts for Natlan teammates
  • Fits Melt, Vaporize, Freeze, Overloaded and mono-element teams alike
  • Top-tier mobility for exploration

Weaknesses

  • No RES shred for Anemo or Dendro damage, and she cannot have more than one other Anemo or Geo unit in the team
  • Her healing only covers the active character and requires her Burst
  • Energy needs can be high as the only Geo unit
  • Negligible personal damage: in many newer teams, a 4-star or a newer buffer does the job better
