Vivian Banshee is an S-Rank Ether Anomaly Agent from Mockingbird who turns her teammates' Anomalies into extra damage. Her Featherbloom strikes trigger Abloom, an extra hit of the Anomaly already on the enemy that scales with her Anomaly Proficiency, and she inflicts Corruption herself on top of that. She's a flexible second Anomaly Agent who works mostly off-field, rated T1 on Prydwen and Tier 1+ on Game8.

Talent priority
Abloom copies part of the original Anomaly's damage, so your other Anomaly Agent's gear matters as much as Vivian's. Level her Core Skill first: it holds all of her Abloom scaling.
Recommended teams
Meta: Miyabi & Yuzuha
Vivian's most used team in the current Shiyu Defense (about 4% of teams). Miyabi's Frost Anomalies and Disorders feed her Abloom, and Yuzuha is the best Anomaly Support. Bangboo: Robin. With a Mockingbird Agent in the squad, it only fires Crowns (Ether DMG and Ether Anomaly Buildup, boosted by up to +180%) while an Anomaly Agent is on-field.
High ceiling: Remielle & Velina
Rarer, but it posts the highest average scores of all her teams in both Shiyu Defense and Deadly Assault on Prydwen. Remielle with Jane, Promeia or Alice in place of Velina is the more common version. Bangboo: Robin.
How to play
Flight Feathers and Guard Feathers
Vivian generates Flight Feathers on-field:
- 2 when she first enters battle;
- 1 per Noblewoman - Waltz (+1 if it triggers a Perfect Dodge);
- 2 per Chain Attack or Assist Follow-Up, 3 per EX Special Attack, 5 per Ultimate.
Basic Attack: Fluttering Frock - Suspension turns every Flight Feather into a Guard Feather (5 max). If you switch characters while she's in the Fluttering Frock state, she casts Suspension automatically: swapping out right after entering the state is the fastest way to do it.
Abloom and Vivian's Prophecy
- Each Guard Feather fuels one Featherbloom, launched even off-field when a squad member hits with an EX Special Attack (once per skill) or, with her Additional Ability, whenever a teammate applies an Attribute Anomaly (once every 0.5s).
- Featherbloom on a target suffering an Anomaly triggers Abloom: extra damage equal to a share of that Anomaly's damage, scaled by her Anomaly Proficiency. The stronger your other Anomaly Agent, the stronger Vivian.
- Suspension and Featherbloom also apply Vivian's Prophecy, an Ether DoT (55% of her ATK every 0.55s) that lasts as long as the enemy has an Anomaly.
- Additional Ability (another Anomaly Agent or another Ether Agent in the squad): Corruption DMG and Corruption Disorder DMG +12%.
Combos
- Opener: EX Special (2 + 3 = 5 Flight Feathers) → swap out to cast Suspension.
- No Energy: 4th Basic Attack hit → Noblewoman - Waltz → Defensive Assist + Assist Follow-Up (twice if possible) → swap out.
- With Energy: Defensive Assist + Assist Follow-Up → EX Special → swap out.
- Ultimate: only use it once her Guard Feathers are spent, since it refills 5 at once.
While Vivian holds Guard Feathers, only use EX Special Attacks (on anyone) when the enemy already has an Anomaly: otherwise the Feather is consumed without triggering Abloom.
Strengths
- Adds a lot of damage to any Anomaly team, and scales with your other Anomaly Agent.
- Works mostly off-field once her Feathers are stocked.
- Simple to build (Anomaly Proficiency first) with a strong F2P W-Engine in Weeping Gemini.
- Many good partners: Miyabi, Remielle, Jane, Alice, Piper and more.
Weaknesses
- Her damage drops if your other Anomaly Agent isn't well built.
- Her best Feather generation relies on Defensive Assists, so it depends on the enemy's attacks.
- Easy to waste Guard Feathers with an EX Special on an enemy with no Anomaly.
Notable dupes · Mindscape Cinema
Every 4 Guard Feathers consumed give 1 Flight Feather, and enemies under Vivian's Prophecy take +16% Anomaly and Disorder DMG. Game8 rates it 5/5.
Ether Anomaly Buildup Rate +25%, Abloom's Anomaly Proficiency scaling raised to 130%, and 15% of the target's All-Attribute RES ignored.
Suspension and Featherbloom always CRIT and give her ATK +12% for 12s. The official English text also gives her 5 Guard Feathers when she enters the battlefield, so she can trigger Abloom right away.
Ether DMG +40%, and Suspension consumes all Guard Feathers for a special Abloom worth up to 5 times the normal amount.
