Deadly Romance

Release3.0

Aglaea is a Lightning Remembrance damage dealer who fights alongside her memosprite Garmentmaker. Each time Garmentmaker attacks the Seam Stitch target, it gets faster. Aglaea's Ultimate puts her in Supreme Stance: she inherits those SPD stacks, converts her SPD into ATK and replaces her Basic ATK with a Joint ATK alongside Garmentmaker. Her 350-Energy Ultimate makes her very dependent on supports that advance her and restore Energy, such as Cyrene, Robin • Summeretto and Sunday.

Modern Aglaea

Aglaea
Cyrene
Robin • Summeretto
Hyacine

Her best team today: Cyrene instantly maxes Garmentmaker's SPD stacks and can restore 70 Energy with each Ultimate, and Robin • Summeretto brings action advances, Energy and a big ATK buff. Game8 plays Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae instead of Hyacine.

Classic Sunday

Aglaea
Robin
Sunday
Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae

Sunday advances her and Garmentmaker and refunds Energy with his Ultimate, while Robin's Concerto triggers twice on every Joint ATK.

Budget

Aglaea
Trailblazer (Remembrance)
Asta
Lynx

Free-to-play option: the Trailblazer (Remembrance, ideally E2) adds CRIT DMG, True DMG and advances; Asta adds SPD.

Guide

How to play

How she works

  • Garmentmaker (memosprite). Summoned by her Skill (which then gives Aglaea an immediate action) with a 100% action advance. Its SPD starts at 35% of Aglaea's. While it is on the field, Aglaea's attacks inflict Seam Stitch on the target and deal Lightning Additional DMG to it. Each time Garmentmaker attacks a Seam Stitch target, it gains a flat SPD bonus (up to 6 stacks). When it disappears, Aglaea regains 20 Energy.
  • Supreme Stance (Ultimate, 350 Energy). Summons or fully heals Garmentmaker and gives Aglaea an immediate action. She gains 15% SPD per Garmentmaker SPD stack, and her Basic ATK becomes Slash by a Thousandfold Kiss, a Blast Joint ATK with Garmentmaker (it doesn't recover Skill Points; she can't use her Skill). A countdown with 100 SPD appears: when it acts, Garmentmaker self-destructs and the stance ends. Casting the Ultimate again resets the countdown.
  • The Myopic's Doom (A2). In Supreme Stance, she and Garmentmaker gain ATK equal to 720% of Aglaea's SPD plus 360% of Garmentmaker's SPD.
  • Other Traces. Last Thread of Fate (A4) keeps 1 SPD stack when Garmentmaker is re-summoned; The Speeding Sol (A6) starts the battle with at least 50% Energy.

Rotation

  1. Use her Technique: summons Garmentmaker, 30 Energy and an AoE hit that applies Seam Stitch.
  2. Before the Ultimate: Basic ATKs to stack Garmentmaker's SPD and generate Skill Points; resummon it with her Skill if it dies.
  3. Ultimate → spam Joint ATKs until the countdown acts. If your supports refill her Energy in time, recast the Ultimate to reset the countdown and keep the stance going.

Tips

  • The Joint ATK counts as two attacks for on-hit effects, which triggers Robin's Concerto twice.
  • Speed-tune her 1 point above your action advancer (135/134 or 161/160) so the advance always lands right after her turn.
  • She is far weaker without her best supports: prioritize teammates who give Energy and action advances.

Strengths

  • 100% action advance on her Ultimate
  • Easy to play
  • Excellent damage in Supreme Stance
  • SP-friendly thanks to her Enhanced Basic ATK
  • Joint ATKs trigger on-hit effects twice
  • Huge self-buffs to SPD and ATK

Weaknesses

  • Enormous 350 Energy Ultimate cost
  • Unimpressive damage outside her Ultimate
  • Her best teammates are all premium limited characters
  • Her E1 and signature fix many of her problems, so she wants investment
