Quantum The Hunt

Release1.0

Seele is a Quantum Hunt damage dealer built around extra turns: whenever she defeats an enemy with her Basic ATK, Skill or Ultimate, she enters the Amplification state and immediately acts again. Her 4.2 Novaflare enhancement raised her multipliers, made her A2 stack and lets her Skill fire automatically on enemies at 50% HP or less. Extremely fast and deadly against groups of enemies, she is hard to master and weaker against a lone boss.

Relics

Genius of Brilliant Stars ×4
Best in slot and her most used set: ignores 10% DEF, 20% against Quantum-weak enemies.
Set effects
2pIncreases Quantum DMG by 10%.
4pWhen the wearer deals DMG to the target enemy, ignores 10% DEF. If the target enemy has Quantum Weakness, the wearer additionally ignores 10% DEF.
As Navigator Isee Sees It ×4
Great when the team already brings a lot of DEF reduction; she needs constant Skills and Resurgence procs to keep its stacks.
Set effects
2pIncreases ATK by 12%.
4pWhen the wearer enters combat or uses Skill, the DMG dealt by their Skill and Ultimate increases by 18%, stacking up to 3 time(s). At the start of the wearer's turn or after using Ultimate, removes 1 stack(s) of this effect.
Scholar Lost in Erudition ×4
Permanent CRIT Rate and Skill/Ultimate DMG, slightly behind Genius.
Set effects
2pIncreases CRIT Rate by 8%.
4pIncreases DMG dealt by Skill and Ultimate by 20%. After using Ultimate, additionally increases the DMG dealt by the next Skill by 25%.

Planar ornaments

The Wondrous BananAmusement Park ×2
Best in slot, but only works with Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae on the team.
Set effects
2pIncreases the wearer's CRIT DMG by 16%. When a target summoned by the wearer is on the field, CRIT DMG additionally increases by 32%.
Rutilant Arena ×2
Her most used ornament: CRIT Rate, and +20% Basic ATK and Skill DMG at 70% CRIT Rate.
Set effects
2pIncreases the wearer's CRIT Rate by 8%. When the wearer's current CRIT Rate reaches 70% or higher, DMG dealt by Basic ATK and Skill increases by 20%.
Firmament Frontline: Glamoth ×2
Competitive at E2, where 160 SPD in combat is trivial; otherwise don't build SPD just for it.
Set effects
2pIncreases the wearer's ATK by 12%. When the wearer's SPD is equal to or higher than 135/160, the wearer deals 12%/18% more DMG.

Teams

Recommended teams

Sparkle & Cerydra

Sparkle feeds Skill Points and advances her; Cerydra copies her Skill with extra CRIT DMG and RES PEN, and can even grant a bonus Resurgence mid-chain.

Sparkle & Sunday

Her most played team: two action advancers and plenty of Skill Points to fuel long chains of kills, while Dan Heng • Permansor Terrae shields and buffs her ATK.

Free team

The Trailblazer (Remembrance) advances her turn and adds True DMG, Asta speeds up the team and Natasha keeps everyone alive.

Guide

How to play

How she works

  • Resurgence (Talent). Defeating an enemy with her Basic ATK, Skill or Ultimate puts her in the Amplification state (+80% DMG for 3 turns) and grants her an extra turn. Kills made during that extra turn can't trigger another Resurgence.
  • Sheathed Blade (Skill). 360% of her ATK to one enemy and +25% SPD for 3 turns: her 115 base SPD, the highest in the game, becomes 143.75. Once per turn (reset at the start of her turn), when any ally attacks an enemy that ends up at 50% HP or less, Seele automatically uses her Skill on it for free: no Skill Point, no Energy. That free Skill can also trigger Resurgence.
  • Butterfly Flurry (Ultimate, 120 Energy). 720% of her ATK to one enemy, and she enters Amplification.
  • Traces. A2 (Nightshade): +50% DMG per kill, up to 3 stacks for 3 turns. A4 (Lacerate): +25% Quantum RES PEN in Amplification. A6 (Rippling Waves): her Basic ATK advances her next action by 20%, even during extra turns.

Rotation

  1. Open with her Technique: she starts in Amplification and hits a random enemy for her Skill multiplier with a guaranteed CRIT.
  2. Use her Skill on enemies she can finish off to chain Resurgence turns.
  3. When a kill fills her Energy, queue her Ultimate right away, before the extra turn starts, so no Energy is wasted.
  4. Short on Skill Points? Finish low-HP enemies with Basic ATKs: they save Skill Points and advance her next turn.

Tips

  • She is at her best against waves of enemies (Pure Fiction) and struggles against lone bosses, where Resurgence rarely triggers.
  • Buffs don't tick down during extra turns, so even a 1-turn buff can last through a whole chain of kills.
  • She doesn't need SPD boots: 115 base SPD plus her Skill already give 143 SPD in combat, and E2 lets the Skill buff stack twice.
  • Cerydra's copied Skill isn't bound by Resurgence's limit: if it lands the kill mid-chain, Seele gets yet another extra turn.

Strengths

  • Great AoE-scenario performance despite being a single-target Hunt character
  • Highest base SPD in the game, and frequent extra turns
  • Very strong self-buffs, including rare RES PEN
  • Works with almost any support
  • In the standard 50/50 pool, so Eidolons can come for free

Weaknesses

  • Worse in pure single-target fights, where she can't trigger Resurgence
  • Very hard to learn and optimise
  • Slow ramp-up: she needs kills to get going
  • Very dependent on her Ultimate

Notable dupes · Eidolon

E1
Big upgrade

+15% CRIT Rate and 20% DEF ignore against enemies at 80% HP or less.

E2
Solid upgrade

Her Skill's SPD buff stacks twice (+50%): 160+ SPD becomes easy, which boosts In the Night and Glamoth.

E4
Solid upgrade

15 Energy per kill: far more Ultimates, especially in Pure Fiction.

E6
Big upgrade

Her Ultimate marks the target with Butterfly Flurry: every attack it takes adds True DMG equal to 30% of her Ultimate DMG, and its death by any unit triggers Resurgence.
