Genshin Impact: meet Danica, the Tsaritsa's head maid (Electro)

On November 7, 2026, HoYoverse posted on its official HoYoLAB account the profile of Danica, the Tsaritsa's head maid, under the title "Steel Sheathed in Courtly Poise", one day after the reveal of Anastasya, the Tsaritsa.

Danica

The official profile card:

• Name: Danica
• Title: Winter Palace's Attendant Shadow
• Head Maid of the Zapolyarny Palace Court
• Stellar Linchpin: Electro
• Constellation: Orcinus Orca

Who is she?

According to the official profile, Danica is a third-generation palace maid of the Postelnitskaya family: precise as clockwork and silent as a shadow, she keeps the whole palace in perfect order. She is also the Tsaritsa's most loyal attendant, an unseen intermediary who conveys Her Majesty's will between factions.

She trained under the Fatui Harbinger "The Captain" and once travelled from nation to nation as a mercenary: under the maid's uniform lies an explosive strength. A woman of few words and fewer smiles, she is often just trying hard not to laugh at a joke.

The post opens with two lines from Vesna, who seems to blame Danica for her driving ban.

What we know — and what we don't

• The card follows the format HoYoverse uses to introduce characters (title, Stellar Linchpin, constellation), but the post does not say whether she is playable, nor in which version.
• No release date, banner, rarity, weapon or skill has been announced.
