The Tianquan of the Liyue Qixing is a Geo catalyst carry built around Star Jades: her Normal Attacks collect them and her Charged Attack fires them all at once. Her Jade Screen gives a Geo DMG bonus and powers up her Burst, which deals big burst damage. She is a solid budget main DPS, especially at C6 (which most players own), even if she no longer competes with the top carries.

How to play

How she works

  • Sparkling Scatter (Normal Attack): each gem that hits grants a Star Jade. Her Charged Attack fires a large gem plus every Star Jade she holds, and Backup Plan makes it Stamina-free while she has Jades.
  • Jade Screen (Skill) deals AoE Geo DMG and creates a screen that blocks projectiles. Strategic Reserve: characters passing through it gain +12% Geo DMG for 10s.
  • Starshatter (Burst, 40 Energy) fires homing gems; if a Jade Screen is nearby, it shatters and fires extra gems.

Rotation

  1. E to place the Jade Screen, walk through it for the Geo DMG bonus.
  2. Q while the screen stands, for the extra gems.
  3. Loop N2C (N1, walk-cancel, N1, Charged Attack) for the rest of her field time; use N1C at melee range.

At C2 the screen's cooldown resets when it shatters (once every 6s), allowing two Skills per rotation. At C6, her Burst grants 7 Star Jades immediately.

Strengths

  • Cheap 40-Energy Burst with high burst damage
  • Simple, low-cost carry: most players have her C6
  • Jade Screen blocks projectiles and buffs Geo DMG
  • Geo DMG needs no reaction setup

Weaknesses

  • Far below modern carries in endgame content
  • Stationary playstyle with slow projectiles that can miss moving enemies
  • Limited team options and no real support role
