Herta
Genius Society Member #83
Herta is a 4★ Ice Erudition AoE damage dealer. Her Talent launches a free follow-up attack on all enemies whenever an ally's attack brings an enemy to 50% HP or lower, which can chain many times against big waves. Poor against single targets, she shines in Pure Fiction, where both Prydwen and Game8 rank her near the top — especially as The Herta's second Erudition character.

Recommended teams
With The Herta
Game8's dual-DPS team: as a second Erudition character, Herta unlocks The Herta's +80% team CRIT DMG, and her follow-ups add damage between turns.
Pure Fiction follow-ups
Himeko's and Herta's follow-ups trigger each other, Robin's Additional DMG helps every attack cross the 50% threshold, and Aventurine adds his own follow-ups.
Free team
Game8's budget pick: Serval's AoE triggers Herta's Talent, the Trailblazer (Remembrance) buffs the team and Lynx heals.
How to play
How she works
- Fine, I'll Do It Myself (Talent). Whenever an ally's attack brings an enemy to 50% HP or lower, Herta follows up with 40% ATK on all enemies. Every enemy that crosses the threshold triggers it, so big waves mean many follow-ups.
- One-Time Offer (Skill). 100% ATK on all enemies, with bonus DMG against enemies at 50% HP or more (+20%, raised to +45% by her A2, Efficiency).
- It's Magic, I Added Some Magic (Ultimate, 110 Energy). 200% ATK on all enemies, and 20% more DMG against Frozen enemies with her A6 (Icing).
- Puppet (A4). +35% chance to resist Crowd Control debuffs.
Rotation
- Use her Technique: +40% ATK for 3 turns at the start of battle.
- Use her Skill to push every enemy under 50% HP at once and trigger a flurry of follow-ups.
- Use her Ultimate on fresh waves; her follow-ups take care of themselves.
Tips
- Pair her with another AoE damage dealer: every enemy they bring under 50% HP triggers her Talent.
- With The Herta, she's the second Erudition character that unlocks The Herta's +80% team CRIT DMG and extra Interpretation stacks. Her back-to-back follow-ups only count once for The Herta's stacks and Energy, though, so this duo shines mainly in Pure Fiction.
- Himeko's follow-ups can chain with hers in AoE content, and Robin's Additional DMG lets even supports trigger her Talent.
- She's free from the Simulated Universe, and Prydwen notes her Eidolons are easy to obtain.
Strengths
- Excellent in AoE content, even against just 2–3 enemies
- Large Toughness damage
- Great in dual-DPS teams thanks to her Talent follow-ups
- Free character whose Eidolons are easy to get
Weaknesses
- Dismal in true single-target fights
- Low Toughness damage when there are few enemies to trigger her follow-ups
- Low base stats
- Mediocre outside Pure Fiction (Prydwen T3 in Memory of Chaos and Apocalyptic Shadow)
