Castorice is a Quantum Remembrance damage dealer who doesn't use Energy: every point of HP her team loses becomes Newbud, and a full Newbud gauge summons the dragon Netherwing. Netherwing scorches all enemies with its Breath attacks, lowers their RES, keeps allies from falling while it is on the field and heals the whole team when it leaves.

Full Remembrance
Her most used team by far. Evernight adds huge memosprite CRIT DMG and Vulnerability, Cyrene lets her overcharge Newbud, and Hyacine's constant healing turns into Newbud.
With Robin • Summeretto
Robin's permanent Songbirds add more HP to convert, and her buffs can match Cyrene's depending on the fight.
Budget
Accessible option: the Trailblazer (Remembrance, E1+) adds CRIT DMG and True DMG, Pela lowers DEF and Lynx raises her Max HP while healing.

How to play
How she works
- Newbud. Castorice gains 1 Newbud for each HP lost by any ally; the cap depends on the team's levels. Her A2 also converts healing received by allies into Newbud (up to 12% of the cap per ally between two actions).
- Skill. Consumes 30% of all allies' current HP for a Blast attack: this is how you charge Newbud. While Netherwing is out, it becomes Boneclaw, Doomdrake's Embrace, a Joint ATK on all enemies that consumes 40% of the team's current HP.
- Netherwing (Ultimate). Summoned with a 100% action advance and a Territory that lowers all enemies' All-Type RES. It stays for 3 turns: Breath Scorches the Shadow can be used repeatedly, costing 25% of its Max HP each time with growing multipliers (and +30% DMG per use from her A6). When it leaves, Wings Sweep the Ruins deals 6 bounces and heals every ally.
- Safety net. While Netherwing is on the field, allies can't drop below 1 HP: Netherwing takes the rest of the damage instead.
Rotation
- Use her Technique to start the fight with Netherwing already summoned.
- Use her Skill every turn to drain HP; your healer converts that HP straight back into Newbud.
- Summon Netherwing as soon as Newbud is full. On its turns, keep using Breath Scorches the Shadow until its HP runs low, then let it leave for the final burst and heal.
- While Netherwing is out, Castorice's own turns use Boneclaw, Doomdrake's Embrace.
Tips
- Keep her SPD below 95 before combat to get the full 32% CRIT Rate from 4-piece Poet of Mourning Collapse — her A4 still adds +40% SPD in battle as long as her HP stays at 50% or higher.
- She needs healers, not shielders: Hyacine is her best partner by far.
- Stack HP% everywhere: all of her and Netherwing's damage scales with her Max HP.
Strengths
- Versatile AoE and bounce damage with strong Toughness damage
- Completely SP-neutral, with an Energy-free Ultimate that charges reliably
- Netherwing keeps allies from dying and heals the team when it leaves
- Lowers all enemies' RES for the whole team
- Very hard to kill thanks to her huge HP

- Demands heavy investment in her and her healer
- Doesn't work with shield-based sustains
