Genshin Impact 7.2: Starsealed Edict, the new 5★ catalyst built for Stellar-Conduct

On October 28, 2026, HoYoverse posted the official overview of the new weapon of Version 7.2 "Hour of Ruin": Starsealed Edict, a 5★ Catalyst. Here is what it does, from the official infographic (Level 90, Refinement Rank 1).

Starsealed Edict

• Stats: Base ATK 542, CRIT DMG 88.2% (secondary stat). HoYoverse sums it up as a weapon that "significantly boosts Elemental Mastery and CRIT DMG".
• Passive "Dawnstar's Flowing Trail":
• CRIT DMG +24%.
• When the wielder uses an Elemental Skill, they gain Crystal Compounding: Elemental Mastery +48 for 20s.
• While Crystal Compounding lasts, each time a nearby party member triggers an Elemental Reaction, the wielder gains a stack of Law of Combustion: +24 Elemental Mastery per stack, max 3 stacks. The stacks last until Crystal Compounding ends or the wielder uses their Elemental Skill again.
• Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: each Law of Combustion stack also gives +12% CRIT DMG to the wielder's Stellar-Conduct reactions.
• These effects work even when the wielder is off-field.
• At full stacks (R1): +24% CRIT DMG, +120 Elemental Mastery (48 + 3 × 24) and, in Radiance: Stellar-Conduct, +36% CRIT DMG on Stellar-Conduct reactions.
• Ascension materials: The Frost Emperor's Revival, Snowborn Heartshard (marked new), Ethereal Glimmershard, etc.

How to get it

• Wishes only: Starsealed Edict gets a huge drop-rate boost on the "Epitome Invocation" weapon wish that opens after the Version 7.2 update on November 4, 2026.
• It is an event-exclusive 5★ weapon: it will not be added to the standard "Wanderlust Invocation" wish.
