Genshin Impact: Mitya's official skill showcase, the Stellar-Conduct specialist

On October 27, 2026, HoYoverse posted the official Character Skill Showcase of "Rules Set at Naught" Mitya (5★ Electro), an advisor to the Energy Commission. Here are the key points from the official infographics.

Mitya

• Release: the "Myriad Patterns Unfold" Event Wish, available after the Version 7.2 update on November 4, 2026, with a drop-rate boost for Mitya.
• Two playstyles: switch easily between on-field and off-field attack modes.
• Highlight: he increases the base DMG of Stellar-Conduct reactions.

Energy Fusion: Gradient Beacons

• When Mitya is in the party, Cryo and Electro reactions are converted to Stellar-Conduct reactions instead, generating Gradient Beacons that Mitya carries.
• Consuming Beacons deals AoE Electro DMG that counts as Stellar-Conduct reaction DMG.
• Accumulating: after your party triggers a Stellar-Conduct reaction, Beacons accumulate continuously for a while, and one of his skills rapidly adds 3 at once. Mitya can carry up to 4.
• Off-field (Tap E): once he reaches the limit, he automatically consumes the excess Beacons to deal additional DMG; when his core leaves the field, it detonates the remaining Beacons.
• On-field (Hold E, then Hold to consume): the longer you hold, the more Beacons he consumes and the more instances of DMG he deals. HoYoverse's suggested combo: Hold E → Q → Hold to consume all Beacons.

More Talents

• "Baseline Stress Test: Detection Core Enhancement": with Tap E, each Beacon increases all party members' Elemental Mastery; with Hold E, triggering 1 Stellar-Conduct reaction generates 4 Beacons more stably and easily.
• "Explosive Reagent: Safe Limits Exceeded": Beacons last longer, and Mitya gains CRIT Rate for a while after they are created.
• "Stellar Jubilee: Top-Secret Protocol": generates a larger Polestar Field that follows the character.
• "Energy Catalysis: Carve a path forward" (exploration): in certain parts of Snezhnaya, Tap E removes rocks. The items you collect can be exchanged for appearances at Novokitezhgrad's Antykvariat, including the "Energy Glow" Accessory.

Materials

His ascension uses two new materials (marked "New" on the official infographic). Complete "Test Run" and Archon Quest Chapter VII: Act VI within the specified duration to get enough to raise him to Level 60.
