Evanescia is a Physical Elation damage dealer who turns every point of Energy she gains into Certified Banger, and every point of Certified Banger into Energy, so her Elation DMG is practically never switched off. With 480 Max Energy, a Master Fox follow-up every 240 Energy and a Talent that converts CRIT DMG into Elation, she is one of the most consistent carries in all three endgame modes.

How to play

How she works

  • Energy = Certified Banger. Whenever Evanescia gains Energy, she gains the same amount of Certified Banger, and vice versa (up to 100 per instance). Her Ultimate costs 240 Energy, but she can store up to 480.
  • Master Fox. Every 240 Energy she accumulates, Master Fox launches a Follow-Up ATK on all enemies, refunds 10 Energy and, with her A4 Trace, applies a 12% Vulnerability for 3 turns.
  • Elation from CRIT DMG. Her Talent gives her Elation equal to 20% of her CRIT DMG, which makes CRIT DMG her most valuable stat.
  • Siphoning. Her A2 converts 50% of the Certified Banger gained by teammates whose Elation Skill Participant ID is lower than hers (hers is 146), and her A6 converts 50% of any teammate's Certified Banger when it expires. She ramps up extremely fast in a full Elation team.

Rotation

  1. Use her Technique before combat to start with 20 Certified Banger.
  2. Use her Skill (Blast, +10 Punchline) on her turns while the team builds Punchline for the next Aha Instant.
  3. Fire her Ultimate as soon as it is ready: its Elation DMG always counts at least her Max Energy (480) in Certified Banger, and it gains extra bounces against small groups (up to +4 against a single enemy).
  4. Her Elation Skill is cast automatically in every Aha Instant (Participant ID 146, near the end of the order).

Tips

  • Base SPD is fine: most of her Energy comes outside her own turn, and acting too often can make her Certified Banger expire sooner. 134 SPD is an optional breakpoint.
  • Energy Regeneration Rate boosts every source of Energy she gets, and therefore her Certified Banger too — the ERR rope is optimal.
  • Her defensive stats are very low. ATK only affects a small share of her damage, so trade ATK/Physical pieces for HP% or DEF% if you struggle to survive.
  • Huohuo is an excellent sustain for her: percentage Energy refunds scale off her huge 480 Max Energy.

Strengths

  • Top-tier Elation damage in both AoE and single-target fights
  • Extremely consistent: she almost never runs out of Certified Banger
  • Very high performance floor and ceiling
  • Easy to build: base SPD works and CRIT DMG doubles as Elation
  • The free Trailblazer (Elation) is already a great partner

Weaknesses

  • Needs Elation teammates to feed her Certified Banger
  • Hypercarry style that doesn't mix well with some other Elation damage dealers
  • Fragile if you ignore defensive stats
