Molotov Cherry is Rozaliya's S-rank PSY-type Physical greatsword user from v3.1. She spins into enemies with TYPHOON CHOP, which grows stronger every second, and turns into a duo act when Blueberry Blitz (Liliya) is on the team: joint attacks, a pulling spin and a stronger Ultimate. She has been superseded by her own v4.3 augment core, Fervent Tempo Δ, and with no Astral Ring she is obsolete in 9.0; only use her for Part 1 content or until you augment her.

If you plan to keep playing Rozaliya, augment her into Fervent Tempo Δ: the upgrade keeps her Blueberry Blitz synergy (double parries) and is much stronger. Sleeper's Dream remains her best weapon in both forms.

Guide

How to play

TYPHOON CHOP and Spice

  • Charged ATK: TYPHOON! YAY!: hold [ATK] during her Basic ATKs to spin. Each second of spinning adds +7% Total DMG (and +12% Physical DMG with I KAN'T STOP!), up to 7 stacks, and she takes 60% less damage from attacks coming from 5 m or more.
  • Spinning builds Spice: stop before it gets too spicy. With Liliya alive, her Basic ATK SEQ 3 and 4 and the joint sequences lower Spice again.

With Blueberry Blitz on the team

  • Several attacks become joint attacks with Liliya (the damage still counts as Molotov Cherry's).
  • TYPHOON CHOP pulls enemies in; release and tap [ATK] for VODKA FINALE (1,100% ATK of Physical DMG, +33% Spice).
  • Her Ultimate becomes CHOPPA WITH LILI (500% + 3,000% ATK instead of 2,000%) and gives Liliya 35 SP; joint Basic ATK sequences also restore SP for Liliya.
  • If she is about to die, she switches to Liliya automatically and heals 2,000 HP (once per battle).

Ultimate, evasion and QTE

  • VODKA CHOPPA (100 SP, CD 20s): a huge chop; the next TYPHOON CHOP gains +25% Total DMG, and Liliya gains +25% Total DMG for 12s if she is switched in afterwards.
  • Ultimate Evasion: a 3s Time Fracture plus a shield worth 15% of her max HP (CD 15s), and nearby enemies are immobilized for 4s.
  • QTE: KATYUSHA HAMMA!: triggers on Weakened enemies or broken shields, gathers enemies and inflicts Stun Trauma; entering in place of Liliya boosts the pull and gives +20% Total DMG for 15s.

Rotation

  1. Basic ATK into TYPHOON CHOP until the stacks are maxed; stop before Spice overflows.
  2. VODKA FINALE (with Liliya), then Ultimate when it is ready.
  3. Swap to Liliya for her Retaliation (it weakens enemies, which gives Molotov Cherry +40% Total DMG and her QTE), then come back.

Her leader skill gives the team +20% melee Physical DMG (+40% at SS).

Strengths

  • Easy to get: Open World, Expedition, Dorm Supply, Dorm Shop and Elysian Shop (Marisa Impact).
  • Fun and unique duo gameplay with Blueberry Blitz: joint attacks, a pulling spin and a much bigger Ultimate.
  • Good survivability: damage reduction while spinning, an evasion shield and an emergency switch to Liliya.
  • Unlocking her is the first step towards her augment core, Fervent Tempo Δ.

Weaknesses

  • Superseded by Fervent Tempo Δ, and obsolete in 9.0: no Astral Ring, and she is not playable in the Elysian Realm.
  • Needs Blueberry Blitz to show her full kit; alone she is a plain spinning DPS.
  • Spice management caps how long she can spin.
  • Most of her useful rank-ups sit at SS.
