ZZZ 3.3 system optimizations: new Agent Guides, squad recommendations and Annihilation Simulacrum stages

Ahead of the Version 3.3 update on October 21, HoYoverse published Ridu Renovation Talk Vol. 15 | System Optimizations, the list of quality-of-life changes coming with "Journey to the Sky". The official note says the content is still in development and may differ in the released version.

New Agent Guides function

• Agent roles: the Character Guide interface shows each Agent's core roles and combat specialties at a glance.
• Squad Recommendations: an Agent's common squad compositions, and Fairy can generate a squad recommendation in one tap from the Agents you own.
• Tutorial: combat techniques, showcase videos, the Agent's exclusive combat resources and how to obtain them, plus Cooperation Exercise, item acquisition and Potential Vision in one place.
• Training plan: from the Agent Guides you can check an Agent's upgrade setup, calculate the materials needed and set the Agent as a training target.
• Upgrade recommendations: suggested skill upgrades, recommended Drive Discs and W-Engines, and details on a Drive Disc (who has it equipped, how many of its substats are effective…).
• Access: Agent interface, training target interface (Compendium training tab) and the function navigation. In combat, you can pause at any time to check an Agent's mechanics and combat resources. More Agents will get combat guides in later versions.

Proxy Archive display optimization

The Proxy Archive is split into two modules:

• Rank-Up Benefits: what ranking up gives to Agents, W-Engines and Bangboo, and the bonuses in each game mode.
• Rank-Up Trial: every way to earn EXP to raise your Inter-Knot Level faster, with a shortcut to the rank-up missions once you meet the requirements. Reminders and shortcuts are also added to the enhancement and training interfaces.

New Challenge Tips function

• In some permanent combat modes, a pre-combat challenge tip appears when your squad is incomplete or your Agents are under-upgraded, with upgrade suggestions and priorities.
• Some of the harder modes get team optimization prompts pointing to recommended Agent teams.
• Both can be turned on or off in the settings.

Annihilation Simulacrum update

Version 3.3 adds three challenge stages: Integrated - Haytor, Integrated - Infernal Revenant and Integrated - Sacrifice - Heretic Jester, with Polychromes and commemorative avatars among the rewards.
