Stygian Onslaught is back until November 3: Disturbance Outbreak until October 10

A new Stygian Onslaught season is live in Version 7.1. It is a combat event with six difficulty levels, a server-wide Exalted Ones buff and, for the first ten days, a Disturbance Outbreak that turns Resin into extra Artifact rewards.

When and who

Event: 2026/09/30 10:00 → 2026/11/03 03:59 (server time).
Disturbance Outbreak: 2026/09/30 10:00 → 2026/10/10 03:59 (server time).
On the Europe server, 10:00 server time is 11:00 in Paris.
Eligibility: Adventure Rank 20 or above, and Archon Quest Prologue: Act III "Song of the Dragon and Freedom" completed. HoYoverse recommends finishing the Archon Quest "Perilous Trail" first for the best experience.

How it works

Pick a difficulty, then clear 3 timed battles. The challenge counts as cleared once every enemy in all three battles is defeated.
Six difficulties, from easiest to hardest: Normal, Advancing, Hard, Menacing, Fearless and Dire. Higher difficulties add stricter rules and tougher enemies. From Hard onward, you unlock the next difficulty by clearing the current one.
Rewards stack downward: clearing a higher difficulty also gives the rewards of the lower ones. Fearless and Dire rewards can only be claimed by clearing the challenge solo.
Exalted Ones: up to 16 characters at a time get buffs during the challenge, and putting them in your party makes it easier. The list changes over time. In Dire, Exalted Ones get no buffs.
Co-op: every difficulty supports up to 4 players. Normal, Advancing and Hard allow matchmaking. Menacing, Fearless and Dire only allow co-op within the same world.

Disturbance Outbreak: extra Artifacts until October 10

During the first 10 days, players at Adventure Rank 45 or above who clear a stage at Hard or higher can spend Resin to get the rewards of the Domain of Blessing they picked. This also builds up Dire Prestige: reach the thresholds to get extra Artifacts and Dust of Enlightenment. After October 10, Resin can no longer be spent this way.

Rewards

The official notice shows Primogems, Dust of Enlightenment, Hero's Wit and Mora as event rewards, without quantities.

Spend your Resin here before October 10

If you're AR 45+, clear Hard once early and pick the Domain of Blessing of the Artifact set you're farming. Your Resin earns Dire Prestige on top of the usual Domain rewards, but only until the Outbreak ends.
